MTV Multiplayer - A new Platinum Games release is always cause for at least curiosity on my part. Okay, if we're being honest, when I heard that the Bayonetta dev was showing off their latest at San Diego Comic-Con, I got that kind of squealing, breathless excitement reserved for teenage girls and, let's say Justin Bieber sporting a new haircut (I don't know what teenagers like). That's to say, I can trust that even if I'm not guaranteed to be in love with whatever the game ends up being, I trust that Platinum will at least bring something new to the gaming arena.

PixlBit | "I’m going to go on a limb here and say that The Wonderful 101 will be a sleeper hit for the Wii U. While it has garnered some noticeable hype within some audiences, it is an easy game to overlook. For those not sure about the game, it is best described as being a simple mesh of Viewtiful Joe and Pikmin. After spending some time with the game, I must say that it went from a just game that looked interesting, to game that I’m really excited about."
GameDynamo - "Alongside Bayonetta 2's announcement, Nintendo revealed the official name for the developer's other Wii U title, the Pikmin-esque superhero-action-strategy title known until now as Project P-100. The official title is: The Wonderful 101. As the title implies, players command 100 tiny superheroes as they work together to take down invading aliens, with the players themselves being the 101st."
Enjoy the official name debut trailer!

Project P-100 by Platinum Games for the Wii U has been retitled Wonderful 101. More details after the jump.
