Start off the propeller and smear those metal parts with some oil – it’s time for this little guy from Unmechanical to pick himself off the ground and solve some puzzles. After you get sucked by some tube into the underground, you have to find your way back to the light and lovely Unmechanical family. As a huge fan of Machinarium, I was waiting for another similar title to finally appear on the outskirts of indie gaming. Botanicula was something in that area, however I wasn’t pleased with it as I was with Machinarium, but today, Unmechanical by Talawa Games and Teotl Studios is trying to fix that misunderstanding. There are no words, no explanation – learning controls and the exploration of the whole underground is what makes this game so fun.
