Building The Next Mass Effect

Commander Shepard's story is over but the endings leave way too much possibility open. Let's keep going with Mass Effect... Pokemon style. Three versions. One for each ending you chose. Read on to see how each would differ.

I loved the Synthesis ending after the extended cut DLC. So good.

Yeah, aside from the fact that it represented everything opposite to the goals of the game, a win for the Reapers who have been responsible for millions upon millions of years of genocide, it was a perfect ending.

@AztecFalcon:
Ultimately, the Reapers represented stagnation in every form. For millions of years they effected and stalled the evolution of species and technology with their series of cycles which only went towards the further support of the cycles. Now everything capable of developing through the process of evolution has been checked by a machine organization which will automatically corrected any divination.

Nothing is going to change - ever - because as the oldest established train of thought the mentality long established by the Reapers will only continue to influence everything else.

How was it opposite? It stopped the Reaper's need for genocide by making them equal to the rest of existence. Now everyone can work together towards a future.

I don't see how that's a win for the Reapers. If anything it is counter to what they want. They want to destroy to preserve a balance, now their primary goal is moot. Now they just exist.

Awesome ideas. I want new IP though.

Meh. I'd rather Mass Effect be mercy killed. BioWare clearly isn't up to the task of creating great Mass Effect games anymore. Resist the EA business model. Don't pollute the world with CoDified sequels.

AngelicIceDiamond5059d ago

I don't really care to hear about a next ME title. Though leave it up to EA announce the game next year. ME2 came out in January of 2010 then ME3 got announced in December of that year. So going by that pattern expect announcement in February.

I wouldn't count on that though.

I Commander Shepard isn't back some how...I'll pass.

Loved the series to death, beat all 3 games several times, but no Shepard? ***k That!

Bro missing companions: Legion, Grunt, Samara/Morinth, Javik, EDI

anast571d ago

Legion, Zaeed, and Jack are my favorites.

RiseNShine571d ago

To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

anast571d ago

They lost too much talent.

IAMRealHooman571d ago

some in andromeda are decent, I agree with peebee and Vetra being good companions. Except Liam he's trash tier

anast571d ago
