Weaponsmithing is a crafting discipline that a good many players will pick up because the items that can be made are usable by almost everyone. As the name implies, you will be able to make items like greatswords, swords, daggers, shields and a few other things as well. Guardian, Warriors, Thieves and Rangers will especially be drawn to this discipline because of the vast amount of upgrades to be had. Arenanet is doing smthn wrong with marketing, I never once seen an ad for a gw2 expansion and always hear it like this once an expac is already released. Not that I would play it cause I'm a gw1 purist haha
