Co-opinion: XCOM: Enemy Unknown multiplayer-Joystiq.com

Richard Mitchell: So Alexander and I got a chance to try out the XCOM: Enemy Unknown multiplayer mode at Gamescom. Both of us played single-player before, so we had some idea of what we were getting into – but multiplayer is an entirely different beast.

It honestly is mystifying to me. I thought GTA V was like ok. Technically impressive in some ways, sure, but kinda quick to become boring for me. Might be series fatigue, because I did probably play more GTA Vice City than any human ever should have.

Gta6 will be in vice city. Can't wait.
I would love for them to remake San Andreas. I played thru it more times than I can count. It capture the 90s Westcoast hood life perfect and had a all star cast. Then the huge map, and cool mini games and feats that changes the character. It's my top 3 favorite game if not #1

@gotta i have the same thing, I just cant get into the newer GTA's anymore. I can tell they are still great games, but i personally prefer the older more arcady GTA games. Nothing beats hearing: KILL FRENZY and then u need to go on a rampage in your car ;)

Vice city was also my favorite, partly because of the multiplayer mod which I used to play a lot with my brother.

I wonder why EA never made a GTA clone considering they bought so many game developers and have so many licenses

roadkillers1820d ago

They tried, but when your competition makes a game that lasts two generations, whats the point

Lionsguard1820d ago

Yeah, we're never getting GTA6.

Knightofelemia1820d ago (Edited 1820d ago )

Rather have GTA 6 instead of milking the same game since 2013

Applejack1820d ago

As a gamer I agree but when you look at it in a business perspective, you’d be just fine with what these sales numbers and profits show. Why release the next game when this cash cow is still going 3 generations strong this coming November. Again, this is just a business perspective, not what I personally feel.

SlothLordPootus1820d ago

I know it won't happen, but I'm hoping for a GTA set in London, written by Guy Ritchie.

RedDevils1820d ago

There The Getaway for that.

XCOM Chimera Squad Review: Unexpected But Fantastic At Its Core | Gamer Matters

Nobody expected a new XCOM game getting announced for this year, and released so quick. And with quite radical changes, developer Firaxis has to temper expectations by stating it’s a spin-off, and it’s sold for cheap.

Like an FBI raid squad, XCOM Chimera Squad kicked opened the doors hard, and hits you strong and fast.
