What is social gaming exactly? It is exactly that: social gaming. It is an activity that, more often than not, involves hardcore gamers and casual alike partaking in what many may call online multiplayer and/or co-op gameplay. It is a symptom of our society’s incredible emphasis on Internet usage and the like; however, it has made for an incredible array of titles to find their way into millions of homes worldwide.

Starting today, Game Pass Ultimate drops from $29.99 to $22.99 a month. PC Game Pass will also drop from $16.49 to $13.99 a month. Prices may vary by region.
Beginning this year, future Call of Duty titles won’t join Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass at launch. New Call of Duty games will be added to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass during the following holiday season (about a year later), while existing Call of Duty titles already in the library will continue to be available.
In my region, it’s still more expensive than it was before the last price hike, but it’s a far more viable price point.
Losing Call of Duty from the service, honestly, has zero effect on me, and given they chose to make it so, it’s probably not the big seller they originally thought. Overall, it’s really good news, but I still think they have work to do on the tier structure, having Premium and PC at the same price point with different features feels odd.
Yep take COD out. Them waiting a year is interesting but it make sense. They don't want certain ppl waiting 4 to 6 months they want fomo and maximum sales. Wait a year while the new one releases.
Ok so far so good.

Ben Porter from Newzoo explains that the player base has very little overlap with mainstream hits such as Assassin's Creed: Shadows and Ghost of Yōtei
I used to buy cheap games thinking I’d play them later, but I always ended up returning to my favorites. Now I skip the deals unless I know I’ll play the game soon.
This is very true, my nephews grew up on these two games and whenever I introduce them a AAA game whether old or new, it's like seeing an alien try to make sense of it and then quickly lose interest in it.
Can’t really expect a 8 year old Roblox kid to go buy resident evil 9 lol
Gaming trends are so weird to me now. Like, I’m old school and games were consumed essentially how movies were. You play through a title and look forward to the sequel or other things that came out. Now, that is so not the norm.
I live with a heavy social gamer, and i can attest that they have a completely different mindset than us. They play games because someone on their friends list has challenged them through whatever game is popular that day. It then becomes their mission to try and one-up them on the score leaderboard. Kind of sounds like COD MP, but it feels different. They don't care about developers, graphics, performance, framerates, etc. It's all about beating their friends. Of course i'm referring to Facebook. It's kind of like an outlet for people who want to play games, but don't want to be gamers.
