Scott from The Controller Online writes: "The first Darksiders game attracted its own following of true fans but never quite reached the blockbuster status of that most series would like to. That’s why I was a little bit surprised when I heard that THQ and Vigil were hard at work on a second game in the series. After playing Darksiders 2, I can say that I’m glad that Death got his own game. As far as the four horsemen go, how could you not want to play as the one who looks as cool as this guy does?"
Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition, despite being another re-release, shows that Darksiders II is an incredible game that deserves more attention.
Because the PS4 has slow loading times I do prefer PS5 versions of games. The PS5 does load PS4 games faster but with a native PS5 version it loads much faster and it looks a bit better and better draw distance and such. So for me , I do want these 3rd releases for certain games and this is one of them. It’s one of my favorite PS3 games. Nobody is forced to buy it. It is not hurting anyone and it gives devs more money to make future games. These re-releases aren’t selling millions but it’s nice for people like me or people who never played the game.
