Come on guys, you had to have known that if they put Vergil in the game he wasn't gonna look anything like the original. I mean, him and Dante are twins after all. Any ways Ninja Theory has their own style, and when it does come out I'll probably give it a try since I enjoyed Heavenly Sword and Enslaved. But, it'll probably be after a few price drops though.

It's a prequel.

Of course Ninja Theory said that it was just a spinoff in an alternate universe to cut down on people sending them death threats & such. In newer videos they go back to saying that it takes place before DMC1 and that it's a prequel.

I'm sure a lot of stuff that's said in this game that may seem stupid will make sense by the end of the game.

its not a prequel, it a full blown reboot, and how can it take place before dmc1 chronologically dmc3 is the first and vergil died in that one.

It is a reboot so it isn't out of the question. But then again like everyone else is saying it could become a major plot twist and Vergil becomes more dark as the story progresses.

Keep it up! You'll all crack under pressure when its release and will buy it!

Forget what you know about DMC because as far as you and everyone here are concerned NO one knows the real origin of the story of both of these brothers and it was poorly written and explain!

All the bitching and moaning will not change it! They are giving this game life with its story in addition to the already well balanced and frantic sword and gunplay in its stylish manner! You guys are just bitching for no reason at this point!

I'll be all over this game at launch and i'll finally understand and appreciate These characters beyond just being unexplained badasses!

only an idiot would take this as a serious devil may cry game. but just because its not a real DMC game doesnt mean it sucks. the game looks good, and the story still looks deeper than the other DMC games besides "DMC3"

game still looks good, so people should shut up and stop acting like their whining will change it. by now if they keep complaining they should have stopped even paying attention to this game anyway

Well stated guys,I'm so ready to play this game because the last DmC was just boring to me & this DMC looks very interesting & I'm so sick of the negative comments about this game,I say if you're not interested in a game nor do you want to play it why come to a forum wasting your time & energy with negative comments,are people that bitter,have nothing else to do or is it that they really have a hard on for this game & at the end they'll end up buying DMC.

Couldn't it be the same said for people that defend or like the game. Forums are made for people to share what they feel about a subject and the only thing that's moderated is the content of each post.

Money is what really shows how interested consumers are in a title so why post anything at all....

Im still iffy on the whole 30FPS like most of you. Nevertheless, I believe I will buy this. The whole game looks interesting to me and Dantes design isnt even that bad to be honest. Im just waiting on a CE announcement, if any.

I would love if they return to the original DMC after this though.

If this game had never been called DMC and they never tried to pass off this scrub as Dante, everybody and their mama would be down for this game and these comment sections would look a lot different. But, they didn't. I really wish this was just a new ip, I might've been down for it. *sigh*

I expected something mediocre and even horrible for the take on Vergil , i wasnt dissappointed .

And it's so obvious he's going to turn out traitor or semi villain at least , but it seems so phony and badly done .

But hey you know where i stand on this game anyway , and everyone picked their side with no expectations of switching it .

The defenders of the game can resort to calling other whiners or the minority all they want , history and sales tends to show NT fan ARE the minority , and sales will paint the picture , be it positive or negative for the game

I can't wait...fuck it not being like DMC. It looks fun as hell people! It'll be a good story with some awesome gameplay...don't be sensitive. I could understand if the game looks poorly put together...but it looks GREAT.

Don't let bias take you away from what gaming is actually about. Ninja Theory are one of many developers who can face a chopping block in this slumping industry. So be a gamer and at least give the core of it a try.
