Recently NPR featured a segment during its Talk of the Nation program with Kay Hymowitz... (who) espoused her view that something had changed in our society with young men. Something had allowed them to become less driven to fulfill the traditionally defined role of a male adult - namely marriage and procreation - instead she claimed young men in the 20's and 30's were delaying true adulthood and commitment favoring instead the proliferation of media like Maxim magazine, 24 hour cartoon channels and video games.
Hymowitz dubbed this new generation of young men with the derogatory title "Child-men", saying that because of their attraction to these entertainment forms and their seeming lack of strong commitment skills that we had a maturity gap emerging within society.

It's important in life to maintain a broad palette when it comes to culture and the arts. Hideo Kojima agrees, as he continues to use video games like Death Stranding to introduce people to music and other elements they might not otherwise discover.

Mojang has partnered with Merlin Entertainments to build the world's first Minecraft theme park in the UK.

A three-episode live-action adaptation of the first two Yakuza video games will debut Tuesday, March 17 exclusively IGN. Each episode is about an hour long and will stream on IGN.com and IGN’s YouTube channel.
I would beware the old-dusty fartman that is to uppity to game. Alot of Gamers are responsible people. My bro is an EMT now and gamed more then I did back in the day when he was in his 20s.
Who the hell wants to follow the traditional path in life anymore. More than half of all marriages fail. In the US court systems, the man is basically screwed in both alimony and child custody. If women want more traditional men then they should prepare to take a few steps back toward traditional gender roles. Hmmm don't want to do that huh...whelp I can blame you...so stop blaming us. I'm mature in my own life goals, work, friends and family. In this day and age, risking all that for a 50/50 chance that I'll end up seeing my kids only twice week and my paychecks garnished for the next two decades. Pfft "Child-man", try "Smart-man". No thanks ladies, I'll adopt.
these guys sound like my mum! =P
