Michael Smith:
For the longest time, there was a chorus of gamers forecasting the death of PC gaming. But the number of naysayers is rapidly evaporating—recent reports show PC gaming is now poised to overtake consoles by 2014. And in some ways, this trend has been years in the making if you consider that, unlike consoles such as the PS3 and Xbox 360 that are based on six-year-old hardware, PCs can be upgraded and tweaked to accommodate the newest games.

Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered brings a titan of video games past back from the grave, but some of the gameplay is dead on arrival.

Tides of Tomorrow takes a unique approach to storytelling, and after being hands-on for a few hours, it’s shaping up to be something special.

The canceled Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake has appeared on PlayStation Network as its trophy list goes live; however, it doesn't mean the game is returning.
Just before it was revealed to be cancelled, there were leaks saying it was due to be released. As trophies normally show up on the PSN backen when a game is complete and about to release - this leads me to wonder if the game WAS complete but Ubisoft pulled the plug because it felt the quality was too mediocre.
My PC IS better than a console. Most are nowadays.
Lol that is easy.. Steam even updates my games automatically in the background. I can choose to play before or after udating. I like pc because it's convenient.
I loled when i seen the title, but then i read it.. its more like one person said a common sense guide to keeping your PC up to scratch and updated.
"unlike consoles such as the PS3 and Xbox 360 that are based on six-year-old hardware"
Every single time I see this I just shake my head at how clueless the person must be.
Companies to not wait til launch day to suddenly decide what will be in a console. That is done years ahead of time. The Cell was made in 2003. How exactly is it only 6 years old?
It just shows that most people are actually clueless when it comes to gaming companies.
Yes the 360 launched in 2005 with technology from 2006..SMFH
My gaming PC is probably 2-3 times better than even the next-gen consoles. :P
