THQ, Vigil Games along with anyone involved with Darksiders II development are all taking part in the huge Midnight Release Event that will take place at the Gamestop in West Hollywood, CA. The event will have tons of prizes, giveaways along with getting game covers/posters signed by Vigil Games, Creative Director, Joe Madureira (as well as Uncanny X-Men & Battle Chasers).
Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition, despite being another re-release, shows that Darksiders II is an incredible game that deserves more attention.
Because the PS4 has slow loading times I do prefer PS5 versions of games. The PS5 does load PS4 games faster but with a native PS5 version it loads much faster and it looks a bit better and better draw distance and such. So for me , I do want these 3rd releases for certain games and this is one of them. It’s one of my favorite PS3 games. Nobody is forced to buy it. It is not hurting anyone and it gives devs more money to make future games. These re-releases aren’t selling millions but it’s nice for people like me or people who never played the game.

While the AAA side of the industry tends to homogenization and imitative, cinematic presentation, “AA” games remain creative and innovative in 2021.
