Everyone who has had hands on with the game said it plays fluidly and well.

The combat seems kind of slow for a Devil May Cry game, or has it been that long since I have played one? The level's (from the video) really don't look that great. Does anybody even know what the story line is remotely about? Don't think I have seen much on it.

This game looks frickin' TERRIBLE. It's like they took the sh*t that was Dante's Inferno and added a watered down version of Darksiders puzzles and made a game out of it. And considering Darksiders is already a better game than this, it's an insult to have any kind of comparison. This is just an offense to my senses.

I know Devil May Cry came out first but this feels like God of War! I don't know but the old Devil May Cry felt different than God of War. Am i the only one thinking like this?

id like to thank the "gamers" for helping another company destroy another great series, give your selves a big hand, now DMC can join resident evil, dead space, crash bandicoot, spyro,call of duty, and the newest prince of persia coming out. arent you you all very proud re& deadspace action instead of horror, crash & spyro mediocre, princeof persia another assassins creed, and how can we forget DmC slow paced, potty mouthed protagonist that likes to flip people off, yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

That trailer just oozed mediocrity compared to the original DMC.

am i suppose to be stoked for this game, because the title said Devil May Cry, i didn't see Devil May Cry. I saw a third person action game that had a generic looking protagonist, boring color pallet, slow combat and something that much more closely resembled a ninja gaiden game...i know its only a trailer but c'mon.

The games looks good but not in Devil May Cry's league. Aha it's also funny that when people say negative things about DMC, they get agreed but if you say a good thing about DMC, they are instantly disagreed -.- . Anyway, might check this out but idk, i wanna see some more.

Resident evils most recent outing revelations was amazing, orc was not cannon and not intended to be a serious entry

dead space 1 was great 2 was amazing and 3 has yet to come out but i have faith in visceral

crash left its original dev and then got milked to death
same with spyro but he seems to be making quite the comeback

Prince of persia literally has one pic no other info than that it makes me think your mad cause he's black in any case get over yourself

and assassins creed 3 looks amazing so either you're blind or dumb and if you're blind I'm sorry ( you're probably not though) if you're dumb I'm sorry (Much more likely though)

im not a fan of devil may cry but as a dude that likes most games, i gotta say this looks quite good. im kinda getting an Alice Madness Returns vibe from it.

This has a chance to be a good game but i do not like the fact they cut the frame rate in half from 60fps to a measly 30fps.

Devil May Cry games are known for there fast paced action with stylish combos & moves. Now to play a game in the series that is half as fast does not seem right. I rather they keep the 60fps & have like pre-rendered backgrounds. Heck Devil May Cry 4 was 60fps why can't this game be?

Old DMC are as EMO as they come. If you want the old Dante go play the old DMC games. It's that simple. Every complaint it seems to be Ninja Theory isn't sticking to the old gameplay....you want old Im sure they're plenty of ways to play the old titles. I applaud Ninja Theory for not trying to make a carbon copy of game mechanics from 10+ years ago.

IF this game wasnt called Devil May Cry everyone would have been like "this game looks great, why cant this be Devil May Cry, why did they have to call it something else, he even looks like dante, the gameplay looks great," Ah but nooooo!
You all have to whine like crazy for a video game. WTH its DmC who cares if Tameem is an @hole he doesnt represent everyone else in Ninja. The game looks good, yes it sucks that its not 60FPS but have to acknowledge it looks and trust me it plays like Devil May Cry.

How does it not being the same as the old Devil May Cry make it a bad game that you'll want to bargain bin?

Did you see the trailer I just watched? It looks great and worth the try and as a traditional gamer an action packed single player with good production values is always welcome.

This game doesn't look quickly put together...it doesn't look pieced together to meet some fiscal deadline. I will be giving Ninja Theory my $65.24 after tax...its already preordered.

In comparison to recently released hack and slash games it looks like it holds up quite well.

We'll see when it drops.

Tameem Antoniades disrespected Trish and Dante without any good reason. Because so many fans of DMC disliked DmC reboot Dante Tameem wanted to defend the reboot character.

But he defended DmC reboot character by taking hits at Dante from DMC:
"If Dante walked into a bar in tokyo he would get laughed out" - really putting a video game character in a real life situation?

He also disrespected Trish by calling her a prostitute with a big gun and heels. How did that happen? He talked about how you should make a female character like Trip from their game Enslaved, and how she is "girlfriend" material instead of "big breasts". NEWSFLASH: Go and play Devil May Cry 1, Trish was more than breasts.
But i guess a female character being sexy, strong, bad ass and show compassion isn't "right" according to Tameem. Because in his eyes - his opinion = right.

UNDERSTAND THIS: If DmC Dante is a reboot character, why the need to explain the changes? And why do it by taking jabs/hits at the original character(s)?

People who say "You missing out on a good game because of white hair" are just dumb asses or Ninja theory fanboys.
