John Bedford (Modojo): Of all the genre mash-ups we've enjoyed over the last few weeks, our chance to get an early hands-on with Barrel of Donkeys' Toybox represents perhaps the oddest experience of the lot. Combining a match-three Tetris game on one side of the screen with a bullet hell shooter on the other, you might wonder how on earth this most unlikely of combinations plays out.

Wrapping up 2014 this time last year, VRFocus had this to say on the Oculus Rift: “It’s been nothing short of a whirlwind of a year for Oculus VR. No, the consumer kit isn’t yet available, but in its absence the company has only strengthened the belief that VR is here to stay this time and that this will be the company to bring it into the mainstream. 2015 will no doubt be another eventful year, even if that fabled consumer release still isn’t confirmed. As VR grows in popularity, Oculus VR isn’t going anywhere.”
Glad these things are not being rushed out.
Looking forward to see how VR grows throughout 2016, and how these companies riff off each other to build better experiences. Hoping to get myself a Gear VR before the end of January.

VRFocus reports on Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg labelling Oculus Touch's Toybox demo as the 'craziest' Oculus Rift experience he's had.
I'm glad he clearly qualified it as the craziest experience on Rift...
Caauuuuse, I know with that kind of money I can't imagine the CRAZIEST experience he could have.
VRFocus reports on the release of another look at the Toybox demo for the Oculus Touch position tracked controllers for the Oculus Rift.
