"QuakeCon 2012 has been one of the biggest – and most interesting – years of the show to date.
During the event, Harvey Smith (co-creative director at Arkane Studios) and I sat down and had a lengthy discussion on Dishonored‘s design, development process and even all the way back to his early days working on Deus Ex.
I’m proud to say that I managed to somewhat stump him.
Harvey goes on to say that Dishonored breaks many – if not all – of the patterns you know in gaming."

Half-Life 2 art director and Dishonored designer Viktor Antonov has died aged just 52.
One of my biggest art heroes. His work and vision were truly one of a kind, and he’s been a huge inspiration to my own work. Such a heartbreaking loss.
Remember seeing Dishonored for the first time when it released, fell in love with the art style straight away, so striking! And because of it, still holds up and will for years to come, RIP Viktor
So sad to hear this. I absolutely love the Dishonored series and love the world and art style. It looks great and unique. I'm still hoping for a Dishonored 3

WolfEye Studios president and co-founder of Arkane Studios Raphaël Colantonio has said Dishonored and Prey fans “will be happy” with his new studio's next game.

Fuck yeah. Even if it’s just a spiritual successor I want more titles like Dishonored in terms of art style, design and gameplay

I really hope all those people land on their feet, because I know our indusutry is better with them in it," Patel tells the outlet. "As for me and how I look at things, I guess first and foremost: I don't believe in living in fear," the Avowed director.
Then gets shut down the next day. They should know better than to talk crazy like that.
Interesting answers. I like that the "no kill" options for the bosses go beyond just knocking them unconscious. Some of them sound kinda crazy.
The poetic justice aspect was really cool!
I was a little apprehensive about the whole not being open world concept, but I'm reassured now. Harvey is a great guy.
