While fielding a question about Windows 8 on Reddit, Sony Online Entertainment president John Smedley nonchalently announced PlanetSide 2 for Mac.

PlanetSide 2 is going to be getting its next major expansion this December. This new addition, titled “Expedition: Oshur” will be the first addition in almost seven years to bring an entirely new continent to the game.

Go one step further and bring it to Linux too , correct me if wrong but Planetside 2 will in openGL because it is developed buy Sony , so surely be easier to port ? , not sure but would be great :D
