This is how the next-generation 'The Elder Scrolls' game should look like

DSOGaming writes: "To put it simply – this is how the next ‘The Elder Scrolls’ game should look like. Bethesda should use this image as a reference, and we are pretty sure that next-gen systems will be able to come close to it."

don't get me wrong, I love Skyrim and with all the ENBSeries mods it gets F'ing gorgeous. But I doubt Bethesda will be able to rework the lighting system, the LOD system and the shadowing system. If the next Elder Scrolls game is based - again - on the Gamebryo engine, then LOL

ok so basically saying it should look like real life?

Zha1tan5032d ago

Real life to me anyway looks boring and bleak, I dont want my games looking that way. (I live in Northern Ireland)

CONSOLES NEED MODS. PLEASE BETHESDA, MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Zechs345033d ago

UT3 has mods on PS3. And out of all studios you want Bethesda to make mods happen on consoles?! Ugh.

Zha1tan5033d ago

despite the fact of course that the PS3 could not handle appearance improvement mods and it would probably result in alot of PS3s crashing and sicne PS3 users cannot troubleshoot their own systems well you have a serious problem there....

It wouldnt be practical.

shutUpAndTakeMyMoney5033d ago (Edited 5033d ago )

ps3 had mods becuase that was before the dlc craz became such a hit!

also they would not allow graphics mods on consoles.

They couldn't keep track of the mods to regulate them all. And it could cause something to go wrong. Also there is no money in it.

DARK WITNESS5033d ago

I think the real problem is not with the dev's but the console owners, especially MS. they don't seem to like such things creeping onto xbox live.

Sony are a bit more open, at least they have allowed it in the past.

Bonerrr5033d ago

Buy a PC and then you'll realize how open it really is, as a platform.
Don't be expecting to see "MODS" on consoles anytime soon, $ony and M$ like conformity and they'll stick to that as long as it makes them money :D

Trenta275033d ago

It will never happen. At least on the Microsoft side of things. They would be worried about someone using a mod to hack into their system, blah blah blah.
