You said JASON dies. Nothing to do with Shauns possible death at the end. Sure Jason's might be at the beginning but still, it's a very dramatic turn in the story that will totally ruin it for players that have yet to play the game.

I hope this game haven't got cancelled.If you're not going to finish it. Just give it to Naughty Dog or SCE Santa Monica Studio. They would do an excellent job at finishing the game.

Never going to happen. Different publishers, different wallets. Very different from Sony handing over a Sony IP to another Sony developer. PS3 exclusive or not.

Besides, you've never even seen it. It may not even be worth saving. Or worth Naughty Dog's time.

Imagine Naughty Dog, gets a pile of shit called Agent dumped on their plate. Agent still sucks, and The Last of Us suffers because of it. Doesn't work like that.

Also you're probably right about that but take two is developing it so im not worried about it sucking.

They could work on it after they finish the titles currently working on.

You do realize your asking them to hand over an IP that belongs to R* ,even if it was to be a PS exclusive. Beside people at R* would be stupid to hand over an IP.

To be fair I do not think Sony actually knows what is going on. I think Tretton even said he wasn't sure if it was an exclusive any more.

This is one of those games that Rockstar will not talk about for a couple of years and everyone forgets about it. Then bam it will be announced (again) saying it has been in development for a really long time.

I don't think this game is even coming out it's been 4 yrs already & they haven't shown sh*t about this game & they keep dodging questions about the game,it reminds me when Square kept dodging questions about the game Last Remnant coming to the PS3 4 yrs ago & nothing ever came of that.

Three possible outcomes with this game as I see it.

1.The game is cancelled
2.The game is now a next generation game and multiplatoform
3.The game will come out late 2013 and will probably be multiplatform.

Microsoft has a ton of money, Sony hasn't really been in contact with Rockstar. They seem to know little to nothing about the game.

Could be a big E3 deal for Microsoft to make the game not be an exclusive, sort of like Final Fantasy.

I don't think they'd have to downgrade anything, and my gut is telling me its now a next generation title.

If they release it late next year on current hardware, it'll be buried in my opinion.

If you look at a game like L.A. Noire, it was fine on the Xbox 360, it was one of my favorite games. It wasn't downgraded at all.

Dude, the best looking games on the PS3 are leagues above the best looking games on the 360. Just look at screen shots of Halo 4 and Gears of War 3. They barely look as good, if not, at all better Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2. Games that came out 3 years ago. Multiplats are a pretty bad excuse to compare games to because the one built for a system the ground up will always be better than a port.

they took out 2 missions because la noir went multiplatform, it was not fine. and ps3 had exclusive dlc and stuff, its just better with more space, they should keep it exclusive.

Rockstar has to make at least one exclusive for Sony, they still owe them for making LA Noire multiplat. Sony gave them money to make LA Noire an exclusive game, and years later Rockstar decided they wanted to release it on all consoles. They then gave Sony a few options of what they would like them to make for their exclusive. Sony picked Agent. So, if Agent is not a Playstation exclusive, Rockstar will either owe them another game or Sony'll probably have to take them to court.

It came about because originally it was going to be published by Sony Computer Entertainment America but after they wasted a reported 40 million dollars on Bondi with nothing to show they washed their hands of it and Rockstar picked it up. None of us have ever seen this supposed contract and technically Rockstar owe Sony nothing.

If it was going to be released say, this year, I'd be all for it still being ps3 exclusive but now I'd rather see it for next gen console(s)

Also, I think as a corporation, T2 have to announce publicly when a project has been cancelled so I think like someone else said, no news is good news. I am not an economics expert though so don't quote me on that.

Until Rock* official page says otherwise, I doubt it'll be multiplat. If plans ever did change, I'm pretty sure they would've updated that page by now.

Game is probably not coming oy and is cancelled. It wouldn't be the first time it ever happened. PSP had announced games that never came out (DMC and RE games).

AGENT is not cancelled, but given rockstar games capability to move hardware, i won,t be surprised that sony decided to make it a ps4 launch game.
Ps3 has enough great games coming out for the next year or so.

Agent's IP is OWNED by Sony, it'll come out on PS4, and be in the videos/playable demos on it's debut probably early next yr.

This game is definitely going to be released this gen as it was first mentioned back in 2007. I have a feeling that this will be better than GTA5 i maybe wrong but to be in development for so long and have two big companies working on it, it just seems that way. Plus a like espionage stuff :D
