While zombies were once the main enemy in the Resident Evil series, more recent Resident Evil games introduced fodder like the Ganado in Resident Evil 4 and the Ooze from Resident Evil: Revelations. Why did Capcom bring zombies back for Resident Evil 6?

A new rating of Resident Evil 6 for Xbox has been spotted, which could suggest that it's getting a current gen port for Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
I loved Resident Evil 4 back in the day and enjoyed Resident Evil 5 even though I had to do co-op to beat the final boss. Shiva was just too dumb.
Resident Evil 6 on the other hand, was so bad that I stopped playing after an hour in the game. That was before I even played any high-quality single-player games outside of Mass Effect, Portal, and Skyrim. I can't imagine playing RE6 now.
Chances are their next remake will be 5.
I just don't get why it's already on the platforms via BC unless it's a remake which would piss everyone off as fans are hoping for either the original game or code veronica to get the remake treatment

GF365: "The iconic survival horror franchise Resident Evil boasts a great number of popular and memorable characters. Arguably, Leon S. Kennedy is the most popular and recognizable character aside from Jill Valentine. In this article, we'll be counting down every Resident Evil game Leon is featured in, ranked."
Yeah I figured it would be ordered like this. For me Leons best game was his debut. RE2.

The modern entertainment industry has witnessed the rise of the Resident Evil franchise as one of its most renowned and celebrated multimedia phenomena. With numerous video games released across multiple platforms, it can be daunting for newcomers to determine where to commence their journey. So here is every main mainline Resident Evil Games ranked.
In preparation for the highly anticipated Resident Evil 4 Remake, let’s take the liberty to rank each of the mainline story instalments, providing players with a fundamental comprehension of the Resident Evil universe.
Because its not RE without them and they know it.
...Oh for the love of god why are people falling for this
They are NOT Zombies...they are improved Las Plagas enemies with the Zombie name attatched to them for Nostalgia reasons.
Zombies can't use guns, weapons or move that fast.
Capcom are just doing this to trick old fans into thinking that they've listened and so they will buy the game.
Capcom: "I know! Lets bring the zombies back, the enemies that everyone loves, even though they are not THE zombies! Fine, but lets take it up a notch! Lets have Leon punching them and laying on his back! Genius!"
Bringing back "zombies" is quite possible one of the worst things they have done with RE6, it has tricked the fans of this game into believing that it's a true Resident Evil (the same fans who haven't actually played a Resident Evil), it's impossible to argue with them because of their sheer ignorance.
So, I'm done with this (now shitty) franchise, well done Capcom, I hope you enjoy your new audience while it lasts.
It brought back zombies? Because i didnt see a single zombie at all in the demo, if the zombies are those guns wielding enemies then people doesnt know what a zombie is at all (Check previous RE4 tittles to see what a zombie truly is.).
