Good
Just dont focus just multi-player though

ATi_Elite5041d ago (Edited 5041d ago )

Oh gosh "Here we Go"

The Witcher 3: Medieval Warfare

(With Black Plague Zombie on disk DLC)

Pre-Order Now and receive the "King Arthur Chain Mail Perk"

Mariusmssj5041d ago

you know that's not right, and it says that the programmers needed for 2 projects:
RPG in a dark fantasy world and RPG based on CYBERPUNK®

We know that CDPR want to release another RPG that is not Witcher 3. So i'm quite sure that TW3 will not have any multi-player components

DeadlyFire5041d ago

idk Elite. I am thinking their first SP/MP title won't have fullscale DLC madness just yet. CD Projekt Red is still a great developer. It won't go bad anytime soon. They still have freedom.

Over the years I've payed very close attention to PC Devs who start making console games.

With the exception of Valve (Who clearly stated they make PC games and just port them to consoles) every PC Game/Dev that goes console, the quality goes DOWN.

Hopefully I'm wrong but I feel CDprojekt is heading in that dreaded direction.

PC Gamer magazine just had a survey about the quality of many PC titles and with the exception of The Elder Scrolls, every title that went from PC Exclusive franchise to multiplat had a low quality rating.

PC Gamers just have a different taste in game play than consolers which is my point. BF3 became a console game and lost a lot of things that made BF2 great as my perfect example.

DeadlyFire5040d ago

Can't disagree with that really. BF 3 is short of what I expected due to console release. They have entered High competition zone though so they might step it up with next release. Keyword is "might". I honestly can't say I have bought a Call of Duty since it went to consoles. Although I might get 4 one day.

I am hoping Projekt Red is the next Bioware and can maintain a quality release like what was done for Mass Effect series.

I am also hoping Sony's next console's x86 push for their console brings in some PC quality with less downcutting for console gameplay.

All I have to run on is hope for now.

It could b great. I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt for now. I love the cyberpunk idea too.

We also don't know exactly how it will work. There have been some great limited multi rpgs lately.

Laxman5041d ago

At least they're hiring more and dedicated staff for the multiplayer, so they dont take anything away from thier singleplayer experince.

MadLad5041d ago

I'll withhold judgment for the time being.

The idea of a singleplayer focused developer looking into multiplayer always scares me a bit.

That said, I have a lot of faith in the developer. Not only did they make my favorite rpg of the last couple years, but they also hold one of the finest views on game development and fan appreciation out there. Albeit it's one that only a few developers, under the right circumstances, can hold to.

Considering CDProjekt doesn't do stuff to jump on trends, and instead pour massive amounts of quality in their games and love their fanbase, I have high hopes that whatever they put in for multiplayer will be great and not shoehorned in just to have ze multiplayaz.

The actor who portrayed Zoltan Chivay in The Witcher series of games has died

Alexander Morton, the Scottish actor probably best known for starring in British comedy drama Monarch of the Glen - but known to me for being the hilariously foul-mouthed dwarf Zoltan Chivay in The Witcher 2 and The Witcher 3 - has died aged 81.

Cause they play NBA2k26, COD and gamepass

Fishy Fingers54d ago (Edited 54d ago )

3x less sales than Playstation.
3x less consoles sold than Playstation.

Per captita, it averages out that the same number of users are buying CDP games regardless of platform, no?

Bathyj54d ago

The exact same or possibly more because a series S, initial investment and effort to Port to Xbox consoles for a third of the return.

Simply not worth it

LMGk54d ago

“ Simply not worth it”

And yet, basically every game comes to Xbox.

NotoriousWhiz53d ago (Edited 53d ago )

A third is a pretty big number to be honest. Like would you rather make 15 million or 20 million? That's the difference that a third makes.

GamingSinceForever54d ago

Hey it’s ok. They are really impressed with XBOx’s new CEO so exclusivity is on the way. 😂

Loktai54d ago

Ok but I mean be logical ... modern PC, Switch, PS4 PS5 then you have XBOX, of all of those XBOX is probably only 10 percent... I mean, what do you expect? 10 percent increase in sales is still nothing to sneeze at, remember - this is CD projekt red and they sell a lot of software. 10 percent of their sales is probably what most studios DREAM of selling .... just playing devils advocate..... its easy to say LOL haha XBOX.... but.. I mean we know what it is at this point. I havent bought on since my xbox one X and before that I only used other peoples xboxes since the OG XBOX and stick with PC and Playstation and switch OLED, but .. I mean.... theres nothing WRONG with an xbox considering its just not the best - but they work fine. make no mistake.
