Darksiders felt more like a cross between the Legend of Zelda and Devil May Cry but, once THQ unveiled the new Darksiders 2, we quickly realized that Vigil was working on more than just a regular Darksiders sequel. What started off as a game with heavy mythological tones turned into a great immersive universe with twists and turns.
Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition, despite being another re-release, shows that Darksiders II is an incredible game that deserves more attention.
Because the PS4 has slow loading times I do prefer PS5 versions of games. The PS5 does load PS4 games faster but with a native PS5 version it loads much faster and it looks a bit better and better draw distance and such. So for me , I do want these 3rd releases for certain games and this is one of them. It’s one of my favorite PS3 games. Nobody is forced to buy it. It is not hurting anyone and it gives devs more money to make future games. These re-releases aren’t selling millions but it’s nice for people like me or people who never played the game.
