El33tonline writes:

"It's been an awesome journey through the minds behind Darksiders 2 as they discuss the action adventure game's key features, but the quest for knowledge comes to an end today with the final behind-the-scenes developer diary for Vigil's upcoming epic title.

As one journey ends, however, another begins: The countdown to the release of Darksiders II!"

I am so looking forward to this game, one of my most wanted of this year. Loved the first and this is looking even better,

Yeah, this basically looks like everything I wanted the first game to be and then some. Town hubs with more NPCs, more exotic (and bigger) environments, loot drops and customization... It looks like Vigil has really hit the nail on the head.

I'm really liking their approach to multiple playthroughs. I like to replay my games if I can and this seems to be one of the aspects they are focusing on. The loot system sounds great.

Dear lord the more I see of this the more I think Skyrim who...

Some will hate or disagree which is fine to each his own but for me Darksiders 2 looks to be the perfect meld of combat, exploration, platforming, puzzles, open world and RPG elements all wrapped up in one perfect package.

This is going to be one hell of a game. Can't wait!

Can't wait to get my hands on this! I loved the first one and I'm going to love this even more. Definitely GOTY material.

Because the PS4 has slow loading times I do prefer PS5 versions of games. The PS5 does load PS4 games faster but with a native PS5 version it loads much faster and it looks a bit better and better draw distance and such. So for me , I do want these 3rd releases for certain games and this is one of them. It’s one of my favorite PS3 games. Nobody is forced to buy it. It is not hurting anyone and it gives devs more money to make future games. These re-releases aren’t selling millions but it’s nice for people like me or people who never played the game.

It's a free upgrade for anyone that owns the PS4 and I'm assuming Xbox one version digitally.

I came back to add that it was free. Hard to be upset about a free upgrade. I would like to have a PS5 physical copy but it’s better than nothing
