Chris Buffa (Modojo): Marvel's The Avengers had an impressive box office run to the tune of $613 million and counting. Now it's Batman's turn. The Caped Crusader may dominate the summer in Christopher Nolan's highly anticipated movie, The Dark Knight Rises, debuting this Friday, July 20. Right alongside it will be a video game adaptation from Gameloft, and we hope this virtual beat-em-up compliments the film, if for nothing else than to give us something to play while waiting in line for tickets.
Check out our mini series about the PS Vita! We think a lot of games should have come to the handheld. This episode we talk about The Dark Knight Rises on iOS.

There’s a new Nendoroid Batman figurine on the way, and the Good Smile Company recently detailed him on their Kahotan blog. This version of Batman is based on The Dark Knight Rises, and uses different textures for different parts of his costume.

Carl Williams writes, "Retro sales are picking up as we enter the summer months and more and more gamers are looking for that great deal to drop cold hard cash on. Companies want gamers to buy from them, especially now that there is so much overlap with games and content across stores, it boils down to customer care quality, ease of sale and of course, price. Check out the sales listed below, there are some good ones."
