Would seem like Chess would have to be the #1 strategy game of all time since it's been played for centuries.
I lol'ed at this list when I didn't see Valkyria Chronicles firmly placed at number one.

I've recently been playing a helluva lot of strategy / board games on iPad. There's some absolute gems out there...

I really hope some strategy games make its way too the wii-U. I've only played like 4 strategy games but I do realise the skill it takes to be great at it.
