5. DMC4 7.5/10 (Hated Nero, repeat bosses, Dante was the saving grace but only about half the game)
4. DmC 7.5/10 (solid overall, some great ideas, meh story, dialog sucked, and the director almost killed DMC)
3. DMC1 8.5/10 (all around solid)
2. DMC5 9/10 (carried by Dante & Nero gameplay, I didn’t like V’s, Nero’s better but still not a fan)
1. DCM3 10/10 (chef’s kiss)

WHAT!? who in their right mind would put 2 near the top (not at the bottom) unironically?
I think all of them are worth playing in their own right honestly, except 2 unless you REALLY want to experience the whole series.
I honestly don't know what the author was smoking, personally I'd rank DMC3 as no.1, maybe DMC5 as second, DMC1 as third, DMC4 as fourth, and DMC as fifth and DMC2 last. such a bizarre list, mybe the author just has strange taste.

This and putting DMC 2 number 2 is all I need to ignore this ranking. DMC2 is absolute trash and it's clear this person doesn't understand exactly why.

Me leaving it out should be telling of my thoughts on it. Better than 2 as a DMC game.

2 and 4 are trash, didnt like any of them.
5 has very good gameplay variety but i hated the foes.. it is just insects the whole time. Reboot has the best foes for me
3,1,4,5 to me, never played 2. 5 gameplay is amazing but level design was really disappointing to me, just a bunch of plain arenas, the story felt like a worse written rehash of the 3rd and the charater models looked weird ( specially the ladies ). Another problem with 5 was that there was not enough content for 3 charaters so I could never really familiarize with any of them

God DMC2 was an awful game.
And in case this isn't obvious it goes worst to best
Order changes depending on your focus. I tend to focus on gameplay/fun factor, so...
5, 3, 1, 4, 2.
I really didn't like 4 but commend Dante's weapon diversity. The retreading of old ground was pretty unacceptable to me.
But even then... Still more enjoyable than 2 for me
This right here is my order as I thought DMC 5 was amazing and obviously 3 comes after 4 was great and 1 for the nastilgic value it holds 2 was so terrible that my local GameStop gave full refunds to people who returned it.
Two Devil May Cry games have been delisted on Steam. As shared on X, formerly Twitter, by Wario64, Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition and Devil May Cry 4 are no longer available to purchase.
Bless the adorably all digital future! When it comes to PC games its not as big of an issue because there should always be another way to access single player games, but still, I hate to see anything get delisted.
Well, DMC4 special edition has a lot of issues to run from Steam.
I have to get a modded executable to even be able to run the game on Windows 10.
Not sure if it is because the game runs in DirectX10 or what, but it sucks they have not even tried to fix it.
DMC4 Special Edition is not delisted, it was just the standard version, it has nothing to do with issues of performance or anything alike. Its just that Capcom probably do not want to sell the standard version, neither the standalone DMC3 version.
graphically speaking, i think it is on the low side a bit, i thought this would look better than this, not saying its the worst thing i seen but i thought this would be a bit more eye candy than this, still a top notch game, just not what i expected graphically.
I swear, there must be about 5 or 6 different impressions of this demo up now. Why not compile them into one article and update it as more are released?
Well, myself, I can't wait to try this demo out on PS3.
To my disappointment, it was the same demo that was hitting the street from since the game announced back in late 2006 or early 07, same exact demo. The difference is minor, we have a time limit instead of none..Many are saying the 360 one is better, well if that is true only a couple things could come to mind.
1. Capcom is lazy, true Capcom fans knows this, so that being said this probably a old build demo that is now available to us, and the 360 demo is more updated.
2. It's a demo, so we should reserved our judgment until the final game, after all it is just a demo.
3. If it is true the 360 one has a slighter edge, who bloody well cares? This is Capcom's first official PS3 game and in time they well get around it.
4. I've already have this baby preorded and no one going to defer me from it..
I just got done playing it...and the verdict is its not that much different from the last games.(next gen come soon)plz
the graphics are nice but nothing mindblowing (yet) and my fingers got cramped a bit from all the button mashing. (one of the things i need to get accustomed to) other than that it's sweet... looks better running on HD then seeing all that bs video comparisons and screenshots. those don't do it justice. so far so great and i'll be buying this game day one.
right now i'm getting hooked on PixelJunk Monsters
