there should not had been a problem. But earlier today when i tried to download undertow for the first time it would not let me it took another try. Might, be alot of traffic but keep trying.

Xbox LIVE always has the latest and greatest downloadable content for its consumers to enjoy, poor fandroids have to wait have fun while I play the premier version of DMC4

It will be on US PS3's around 2 pm, it was said. But yeah finished downloading it on the 360.... doesn't feel right. This should def be for PS3 only but i got both so i am cool.

Downloaded both versions (Xbox & PS3) to see of I could discern any graphical differences. Before I get to the graphics I have to say that I am quite surprised as to how fast this game gets boring. The formula may have worked back then but it is so archaic by today’s standards. I’d rather that Capcom build these huge levels where you could hack and slash to your hearts content and not constantly break up the action with going in- and outdoors.

Any visual differences between the two systems? (PS3 @ HDMI vs Xbox 360 @ VGA) I would have to give the edge to… well I couldn’t really find any to be honest other than the PS3 being rendered a bit brighter as usual and the Xbox 360 having a slightly more POP in color. There’s probably difference to be found if you run both games next to each other and scrutinize every frame but if you have to end up doing that than it kind of nullifies the point of one game having a meaningful leap over the other.

I did discern a slight frame stutter in the PS3 version. This was NOT during gameplay though but the first time you enter the door after the plaza scene in the beginning. But I am sure this will not be in the final version of the game.

As far as controls goes I have to admit that the PS3 feels a bit better! Even though I still believe the Xbox 360 controller has a better, more suitable designs for most games.

I doubt that I will be getting this game, especially since Ninja Gaiden 2 is soon upon us!

Can someone please confirm one thing for me?

IS it playable using the D-Pad or is it anolog stick only? cheers.

Why would you want to play this with the D-pad? Are you into self-mutilation?

I love my Xbox360 and prefer it over the PS3, any day of the week and twice on Sunday. But to say that the PS3's technology is past gen is ludicrous.

PS3's slow start is to blame for what is now but good things will come and there will be a number of games that some wished they'd be able to play on their Xbox 360 and vice a versa.

The PS3 may have a disadvantage when it comes to programming but once the Devs have figured out how to make the best out of it their next games will shine. Same can be said for the Xbox 360... I still believe we haven't even seen it's true potential yet... Maybe Assassin's Creed really showed what next-gen is all about. I picked up Gears of War again and it's really starting to show its age...

I will say this... GTA IV better deliver identically on both systems, if not somebody will have a hard time convincing others that their system is future proof.

Its a bit last gen....not my cup of tea.

It's a timed demo and I did not get very far but I was impressed, it's got a Zelda feel to it, I don't like the camera but the atmosphere makes up for it.

I thought the controls were going to suck... the way some people were making it out to be in previews, I thought lock on would be RB and shoot would be the RT... but i'm feeling real comfortable with this demo right now.. I think it controls perfect

amazingly beautiful, but as for gameplay -- well it's very much DMC, while good I was expecting a bit more. More over the time action and at least better enemy A.I.

Demons don't even really attack, they just kinda move around and jab at ya every now and then, even the boss Berial didn't seem like he was that interested in killing you at times. It's a fun game and if anything 'looks' very next-gen but still has that old DMC style of gameplay. It's fun but don't expect a complete overhaul or DMC amped to the 1000th level. Still looks awesome in 1080p and sounds even better, def a game to show off your setup, if you got one that is.

Oh and the control with the right bumper as lock-on just feels kinda funny and not very natural, but you do get the hang of it after a while.

From you guys posts the game seems to be pretty good. 8 1/2 hours to go =[.

Why is the SONY fan boys damage controll unit in here? If you live in Japan and own a PS3 then your good. If you do not then please do not waste your time posting. Your post should be more about how much people are liking the game and nothing else.

XBOX fans and owners give the PS3 fans a break it is bad enough they are still in third place.

Graphics look SWEET, better AI it seems, Pretty much DMC gameplay with a few adjustments.
Analog movement is better on 360 IMO.
Great controls on 360 version, i have no idea what people where moaning about regarding controls on 360.

has the acheivements info been released yet for the 360 version? i can imagine what they will be.

My live expired on Tuesday :( I'm going to renew it tomorrow if I can buy a 1 month card. Otherwise I'm going to be very dissapointed. I wanted this on PSN though.

after playing both at 720p this morning for abit, i would have to give the nod to the 360 version. it has slightly sharper textures, but some screen tearing. the ps3 version looks nice too, and seems to use more motion blur. but the texures are not as sharp to me as the 360 at the same rez on my screen. (720p)

I'll download this when I get home.

LOL it still won't work trust me you still get the 48 hour trail but it still won't let it download this game.

i have the 360 version. waiting for the US PSN version to compare but i must say that the game is gorgeous. its fun an full of action. to bad they only give you 10 minutes, once i figured out what to do an where to go i was almost out of time , so im gonna play it some more later!!

OMFG I LOVE this game!! As soon as I heard "Devil May Cry" glee washed over me like a little kid, the king has returned once again (your move NG2). Ok I knew it was going to kick ass, but the previews, the videos, and the pics do it no justice at all. It's GORGEOUS, and I was able to jump right in and kick ass. Nero controls so similarly to Dante, I already knew he had High Time and Helm Splitter before the game explicitly states it.

After I got the Grim Grip upgrade for the Devil Bringer oh the fun air combos came to me with GG/Buster combos. I hope the difficulty is tuned up for the final, or maybe this was the default normal (EASY). I ran through exterminator 2 times already without being hit once, and that's just from when I started playing. Executioner was also easy, Berial wasn't difficult at all. In fact I had more trouble fighting Cerberus the first time in DMC, I got hit by Berial 3 times. I could attribute that to the fact that I never stopped playing DMC3, or maybe it IS too easy.

In any case Nero has enough moves at his disposal right now (I know more will be put in) where it feels like DMC. The speed boost you get when you run for a few seconds should have been mentioned more, also if you're near a gap he'll get a jump boost from it too. Hell I don't even miss styles right now so I know Dante is going to kick ass with style switching. Next month can't come soon enough, this might be my most played demo ever by that time beating Burnout Paradise.

Their was no frame rate issue or screen tear on the 360 version.
This game is straight up awesome. And the control scheme on 360 is very good. I quickly adapted to it.

3 and 5 are pretty fking amazing ha

DMC3 > DMC1 > DMC2 > DMC4.
I haven't played DmC or DMC5 yet. DMC4, I don't like Nero and Dante's styles felt nerfed compared to DMC3.

The only ones I enjoyed or completed was the first game and DmC.

Y’all are too hard on 5… yea, they should’ve cut V and worked on more set pieces instead, but the combat and bosses are perfect.

3, 5, 1, 4, 2.

Not counting DMC... I gotta go 5,3,1,4,2
