I'm going to be playing Killzone 2 and MGS4. It wasn't even close to my wishlist anyway.

To be honest.....I never heard of this game until news about it being canceled started circling around. Afterwards, I played the demo, 10 minutes later I deleted it, and that was it.

They should just delay it on the PC and Xbox 360 and make the game tight...but they are hurting for money so they will release it broke.

AAA FPS on PS3:

Resisance: Fall of Man, Warhawk, *Call of Duty 4*, The Orange Box and so many more. Match already great FPS to Resistance 2 and Kilzone 2, and you'll say Frontlines what?

wow i can't believe it was canceled but seriously anyone cares if it is? seriously even if it wasn't canceled did anyone care about it. luckily instead of sucking on multiple consoles it can suck on one console. owning a wii, ps3 and xbox360 the 360 owner part of me thinks oh geez they should have just canceled it on all platform and saved everyone from this game that no one cares about.

Not trying to be a fanboy but shouldn't the PS3 fanboys be a little bit more worried. I mean I know this game wasn't a huge loss but this could just be the beginning. Being that Multiplatform games sell better on the Xbox 360. Just look at COD4, Assassins Creed, and Guitar Hero 3 sales on Xbox 360 compared to PS3. Developers are taking notice of this just as much as movie studios were taking notice of the sales of Blu-ray compared to HD-DVD.

This may be the beginning of something bigger or not, we'll just have to wait and see.

Not all games released on the PS3 were or have to be great. The more variety available, the more customers you will get. Just because you and I think a game sucks, doesn't mean everyone feels that way. There will always be someone that a game will appeal to. More games = a very good thing. If the attitude current owners have is "I'm glad game X got cancelled", the more cancellations you will see.

I played over the demo and I must say it began nicely, The cut scenes where beautiful, The gameplay at the beginning wasnt so bad but it just went down hill after 2 minutes. After you play with the little remote cars you fight with yourself over wether or not you should bother to play on. It just seems like too much of a chore to enjoy. Shame online could have been fun with the little remote vehicles.
I could still get this on xbox so I'm not being a fanboy about it but the game just isn't worth it.

The only thing the PS2 had going for it was ..... variety of titles and the size of the library.

PS3 having games cancelled on it while not the end of the world is still not a good thing. Regardless of whether you think of it being good or bad...its one more game that wont be appearing on the shelves.

THQ is like going bankrupt or something? Scraping Juiced and Stuntman though both of those games were poor. I don't see why this game would suddenly be AAA.

fact they are still putting out a pc version on top of the 360 version suggest it might of been a cash deal if you know what I mean. Bets on it being a 'windows' game for sure.

Sony's first party titles make alot of these third party games look like utter crap. IMO Sony could win this whole thing on first party studios alone. Their stable is that DEEP.

Finally, I am a man of real balls. So I admit gears of war is indeed better than resistance, even though I have'nt seen any details or confirmation of gow2 and resistance 2 has 60 player online matches but anyways I'm gonna give u guys a break.

Halo wars is definetly not gonna be better than LBP for two reasons.

1. halo wars will not sell in japan and LBP is a casual game and it's creative.

2. RTS games generally suck on consoles or do not deliver the same impact than on pc.

Kaos studios, formerly trauma features the general manager frank delise and his crew, Too many to name as Im trying to point out something. Trauma created a mod for battlefield 1942 called Desert combat, it was responsible for the 1942's half high ratio sell rate. Trauma was then brought on by EA to work on battlefield 2 for the PC with DICE and they did.

Game won awards and has its huge following. Now Ea wanted to move the guys to sweden, but they said no, so they stayed in New York. Was picked up by THQ and became Kaos studios. Ever since this game was announced, I been following it, researching it. Lets just get this out of the way, the xbox single player demo was OLD CODING. MONTHS back before they released it. I played it and thought this isnt good. Not like I wanted.

But I got into the PC beta, been playing that. even its a month behind what they have in house created. I played it and loved it. Using EMp rockets to take down choppers and watch them explode as they crashed, squads which will be in the console version. Something that wasnt in battlefield 2 modern combat. Im speaking on the xbox side. Play the beta. HEll just yesterday I was on ventrilio with one of guys from Kaos. These guys put their blood, and hard work out there.

Yes maybe releasing the single player demo hurt them. And yes you have a right not to support it, buy it, whatever. But I know when the multiplayer demo hits early february that your going to see the changes, no sluggish control, different control scheme and such. I mean played cod 4 but after playing the frontlines beta, I cant go back to it and say You're fun because I'd be lying to myself.

I had more fun on the multiplayer PC beta then on COD 4, halo 3 and such. Bad company is delayed and ea is making battlefield 3 for the PC. 24 players for a console, yeah thats nice whatever. destructible enviroments arent enough to bring me to it. Because we get shafted while the pc Gets a beffier battlefield 3 and no Im not talking about that garbage battlefield heroes. If you been reading on here they're developing each one seperatly.

So yeah bad company, 24 players, probably no squads, but I dont know. Delayed, while the PC get Battlefield 3. What does all this have to do with frontlines, well the guys helped make battlefield 2 for the PC, made desert combat mod for battleifeld 1942. Now they're making frontlines, a not so well recieved because of the OLD CODE demo.

Im sorry it was cancelled for the PS3. You guys are getting killzone 2, resistance 2 those games will blow away bad company. I have personal taste, mine is frontlines. I played the beta for the PC, I played the single player demo and will say its like night and day. It sucks you guys cant play it on the PS3, but these things happen. Maybe in the future you will get a kaos/thq product. IF you dont believe about Frank and Kaos history/comapny history, just look it up.

Im not going to convince anyone here to buy it, nor am I saying its better for us then you ps3 guys. Because thats stupid. I played the demo, and so did a bunch of my friends/co-workers... and the open sandbox type gameplay for a cod4 type of game worked really good.

i'm looking for this game, R6V2 and condemned... and its a nice surprise to get another exclusive for the 360 by default

We cant deny that killzone 2, resistance 2 (60 players online DAMN!) and MGS4 are all products that will push the PS3 forward. We know that, I may only own a xbox 360 but I wont deny that PS3 seems to have good playing hand. Its hard to develope for on the PS3 or so I hear. But once you can learn it you get some amazing games. Im not a fanboy of either system. Just look at game informer pics of resistance 2. I thought they were good.

this game was average at best..I played the demo on live and it it a nothing title. I actually enjoyed Turok and Turning Point more than this piece of crap. The framerate is horrendous, and when you turn, this steaming pile of turd almost comes to a standstill.

MS fanboys have the hide to get all uppity about this drizzle being 360 exclusive, but then start putting down games like Killzone 2 and Haze without ever playing them.

You fanboys go buy this second rate crap, and add it to the slew of other second rate titles you 360 fanboys seem to be buying (eg, saints row, dead rising, timeshift, crackdown, etc), while I will be waiting for the game this piece of shizit is trying to replicate in Battlefield.

I have'nt read any comments yet, but my gut feeling tells me 80% of them go something like "We did'nt want it anyway".

It's not that big of a loss, at least in my opinion. I played the demo on the 360 and got bored of it and stopped playing before I finished the demo. I think I'm just getting tired of every game using the Unreal engine. It's getting to the point where all of the games that come out look very similar because they're running off that same engine.

Nordic looks like the sort of company that buys titles and then either sales the IP for higher than what they brought or they farm out the titles to second rate developers who make a cheap low class game.

If Nordic really wants to be a top publisher than Darksiders will allow them to do it. But Darksiders, while amazing, was not known for it's return on investment. One of the main reasons they where able to grab the ip for 4.9 million. Regardless, the ip was great but it was the team that made it great. If anything I can see them resale the ip at a later point for more than 4.9 million.

Wow, they really want most of THQ's IPs. Well, at least this mean some of the games wont be left for dead. I want a new good Destroy All Humans! please.

Keep Darksiders from getting campy and too commercial. Keep it macabre with that perfect amount of eerie and creepy elements. Just keep it real.

Change the menu system and remove the silly portal puzzles. The first game had way better puzzle elements. Keep the bombs because I love the horsemen's 'throw bomb' animation, and continue with the huge enemy design. Just make the combat with said giants more original and less SoTC style.
