After the major backlash from gamers concerning Mass Effect 3′s original endings, developers Bioware finally released the extended edition of each ending as a free download that consist of almost 1.9GB of data!
They are intended to give players a better insight as to what happens after the epic conclusion to an epic game and an epic series. The original endings sorely disappointed gamers and fans around the world because of their briefness and also lack of closure, failing to provide players with a satisfactory ending and leaving gamers clueless as to what happened to their relationships that they’d built up over 3 whole games!

One of the best things about the Mas Effect series is the companions you meet along the way. So here is a tier list of all the companions from Mass Effect!
To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.
He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.

A second attempt to save a failed ending that just isn't going to change the opinion of gamers like myself.
I mean, I lost faith in the franchise with ME2 and can note multiple instances besides ME3's ending where Bioware either didn't care, couldn't afford to do something right or weren't given the time to do it right. That plus the fact they overhype and misdirect means I'll pick up a title from them on a casual - used - basis.
Can people stop crying about this now? If you think that Bioware don't care about this series then you need your head checked. One good thing about this whole "boo hoo, I don't like how they ended the trilogy, boo hoo, I'm gonna throw my toys out of the pram" issue is hopefully the pre-teens who say they won't buy anymore Bioware games will keep their word so that the rest of us don't have to listen to them crying again when Bioware make the next Mass Effect. It's sickening.
People act as if this new content changes the ending, it doesn't. It elaborates a bit more on the ending, I didn't mind the original ending, I think this whole thing was blown out of proportion. I like the idea of having to think and possibly come up with my own theories. Never before had my gamer friends and I debated over what the ending meant. I think it meant different things for different people.
Great series as a whole and ME3 was a fantastic journey.
