here are some of my ideas that i think would be a cool stage scenario and combining game environments.

well a great idea i think would be to have a silent hill hellish school playground which gets transformed into a gorgeous flower landscape with the more petals collected. bent and scew see saws get fixed and repainted with beautiful flowers as the evil of silent hill fades! guests for the level could include pyramid head or crazy nurse maria making lunges at you and when the whole stage is reborn into beauty it will be hazard free essentially allowing the remainding players to battle it out without distractions

and good combination me thinks would be infamous 2 new orlean balconies, then the reapers come and rocket the hell out of the scenery which crashes into the underground subway which would be the moving train of uncharted 2. so a multi part level essentially.guests for the level could include the beast of new morais, courier pigeons throwing in powerups/items, eddy navarro, lazarevich

madisons appartment could be based in germany and when you break out of it you fall into the tarmac of the legendary nurburgring followed by hazardous supercars speeding around the track at various speeds. guests could include the origami killer, jasooooon and of course clowns with balloons!! Special guest Kazunori Yamauchi? :P

a crash bandicoot/MGS side scrolling stage which begins as a side scrolling platformer on ice, along with slippery floors and ice boulders smashing through and ends up in shadow moses helipad where your greated by a metal gear reaping chaos against neo cortex :P other guests could include coco, liquid,raiden,colonel campbell,otacon, mk2

i really hope they play hommage to the so many great titles sony has provided us over the years with tons of easter eggs and references and content.

I got a few. Neo Cortex and Dr Nefarious in the background in an evil lab together. As they press buttons and pull switches the stage has booby traps opening and closing and lasers activating and they laugh wickedly if you get caught in any of them.

Or a Colossus fighting either the mutated Mayor from Infamous or the Beast or all three of them battling it out. Or the Beast taking on a horde of Chimera as they pile all over him in an attempt to stop him and pieces of the Chimera weapons and parts rain down on the playing field.

Or a stadium setting with a bunch of secondary characters sitting in the stands cheering on the players like Master Onion, Coco and Carmelita Fox. Or Zeke and Sully having a fist and/or gun fight in the background and everything they do causes debris to crash down on you. Or Kessler fighting it out with Zeus and their energy bolts strike the playing field at intervals

playstation all stars would have been good if you could finish without ultimate moves. Made the game so boring and repetitive. The rest of the combat was really fun but that just killed it for me. Look at smash where you can get such creative kills and here you just wait for lvl 3 ult and press one button.

It wouldn't have mattered, Sony would've rushed it out and left it to die. More so now than before with their focus now being on SP narrative driven AAA games.

Oh, but somehow Smash Bros. 64 made it work?

It just couldn’t compete with Smash Bros. and it wasn’t a free-to-play game like Multiversus.

I think it released at the right time. It's just after the success of Smash and Multiversus, it's finally time for a sequel.

I'd be all in on a remake or remaster of the original. I enjoyed it because I didn't sit there and compare every aspect to SSB. I just enjoyed it as it was.

Sony should make part 2 and dump a good amount of money on it. Scrap super only kills and it's bound to succeed.
