Since the new Devil May Cry project from Ninja Theory was announced, there’s been a, how should I put this?.. Strongly worded debate, on the direction they’ve decided to take Dante in. Many fans were outraged that the Dante they grew up with was getting this gritty redesign and being made into a younger punk rock looking demon slayer who seems to be missing the characteristics that made Dante cool to begin with. Others sat back waiting for gameplay and a little more information before deciding if they should go along with the new game.
Sorry if you were expecting Bionic Commando.
Actions speak louder than words. Show me a new Mega Man game that isn't a collection of games I played yesteryear. If they can churn out some kind of RE game every other year they can make a new Mega Man entry. It's not like it's known for its deep stories.
I can see DMC, but the others just weren't built for that without some major adjustments on how they're played.
If they make the right choices and right kinds of games, the Mega-Man IP could potentially be made into an animated film or streaming series like the success of Mario and Sonic. Surely that thought may have crossed their minds? Or am I being silly? I mean there is a lot more water to go under the bridge for them to even start considering that. But I used to be a big mega-man fan back in the day. I'd love to see it happen.

Just like the guys said . I’ll believe it when I see it . Even the shareholders are asking questions regarding Megaman . I don’t want to sound ludacris but I have a strong conviction that the heads at Capcom are purposely holding the Megaman IP down because of their grudge and spite towards inafune on some deeper Japanese honour code stuff . It’s deeper than we think . You can tell something isn’t right .
Well i hope DMC is being worked on. Either a remake of 1 or 6 will do.
And bring back Megaman X. Either regular, command mission or make it a Metroidvania since silksong is so popular.

It'll probably be a decent game, but I have a feeling this isn't going to sell well. Purely based on the ammount of fans NT is pissing off.

Infamous2 is a great example of a game that was on its way to fail but because SPP listened to the fans it turned out to be a great success and history has shown us that not listening to the fans can be disastrous and I am afraid that DMC is headed for a fail.
Wonder how so many talented studios disappear, yet Ninja Theory is still a thing????
