PlayStation Euphoria: In an interview with Gaming Examiner’s Tony Hsieh, Neil Druckmann, the creative director of the “The Last Of Us” stated that they will “be supporting multiplayer [in] The Last of Us [...] [but it won't have] co-op within the main campaign.” So what could the multiplayer be like? It’s strange that Tencent wants to make games that Sony makes already and does a great job. I could see asking about reviving a franchise but current franchises don’t make much sense.
It's not strange at all. They're big on copying successes, not on developing their own.
That was pretty much the norm for several years. a big hit gets released, then you start to see clones. God of War and then Dante's Inferno. Gears of War and then Quantum Theory. Those are just a couple but there are plenty more.
Its been the same with movies and tv shows for decades.

Guys when I am not gaming or watching media, I will read or listen to books for entertainment. There are a bunch of great books out there with stories that are super interesting.
I don't understand why these studios won't try to do an adaptation of some of those books instead of trying to copy each other.
Some of the best games around were adapted from some of these books.

yeah, they're gonna overprice it so only 0.5% of the playerbase can buy it. The spiderman packs cost like 650 for 12 packs or something, on top of spiderman not fitting into mtg at all. Most of current PS characters don't fit either.
It could kinda be like the dayZ mod.

Have to play the game first. Maybe its co-op and you play as the scavengers fighting off the infected. Or your the infected fighting off grops off humans.
i hope if there is MP its more co-op than actual versus and IMO it doesn't need MP just give us a great 15-20hrs single player story and its a day one
i have said it before and say it again if a game has useless MP just for the sake of it i rather have them spend that money on improving the single player than give us something that no one will even touch 30 days after launch
Multiplayer should be a match full of Ellie's running around throwing bricks at each other.
