So, I am a huge J/RPG fan and it was actually the very first genre that I was introduced to, thanks to my dad. RPG’s would always be played at my house and because of it; they always had value to me, beyond the game. Maybe that’s why I chose Playstation, because they had a campaign that stated “Go Beyond”. Okay, that was a lame ice breaker but it ironically fits perfect in this situation so if you didn’t chuckle a little, you were amazed that I remembered such a thing. There have been many RPG’s that I have played but there have been few that have really made me think, after beating them “Boy, I would really love to play this game on the current Generation”

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

A brutal reset, a smarter story, and a return to what made it great—Mortal Kombat (2011) revived the series.
15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.

Why did Sony push Shuhei Yoshida out of his role leading PlayStation's first-party games? He'd overseen some huge successes. Well, apparently, he didn't listen.
Yeah I can see that for sure. Shuhei Yoshida should have been in charge not Jim Ryan.
More confirmation that Jim Ryan is the culprit for what has happened to Sony. Hulst needs to go too. What sucks is that a lot of the good top heads at Sony are no longer there. I wish that guys that were forced out prematurely by Dumbo Jimbo like Shuhei and Layden came back.
Makes you wonder if MS even thought about hiring him after Phil and Sarah were leaving. He certainly couldn't make their situation any worse.
All the gamer/consumer lead heads are gone across PS and Xbox. shuhei gone phil's gone (questionable) but gone. The future of gaming is somewhat uncertain across the board.
How is FF 7 only 4th? Great game but sadly Square have said they can't remake it until they better it which, considering the standard of recent FF games, isn't likely to happen. Great list though.
I'm happy playing the originals, as long as the pixels and aspect ratio can be maintained. Virtual Console really sucks for that. It just assumes you're still playing on the same TV you had in the 90's, despite the fact that no one is.
green troll like creature are still a reality , dragon dogma do it pretty well.
Anyway ,
Wild arms does not need a remake but a reboot
FF7 won't be remade ( square said this )
Majora mask doesn't need a remake ..but if nintendo does it , then so be it.
FF6 could use a full HD remake ( not like on the ds ) but 2d HD
I don't think square could remake secret of mana properly in this day and age.
This doesn't really count as a remake but i want to see the golden sun series put back into it's glory and i also want the dragon warrior monster series so badly!
Is Majora's Mask even an RPG. I never relly considered them RPGs. I've never specifically played MM but in general the series is more Action Adventure.
