The new free DLC Extended Cut for Mass Effect 3 is finally out for download. After the wait for new additions and hopefully changes to the ending of one of the biggest releases this year, will this new DLC be worthwhile for everyone? That was the biggest question that was on everyone's mind since Bioware announced they would be releasing a free DLC to help bring a little more closure to the ending of their EPIC trilogy. A lot of people were upset at how the original cut of the finale turned out, to which many called for action to make things better. While there have been many doubts as to how Bioware would approach this daunting task, it is great to see that everyone can now put their worries to ease. Be aware readers, there are MANY SPOILERS below, including videos and detailed descriptions of the ending of Mass Effect 3. You have been warned!!!

One of the best things about the Mas Effect series is the companions you meet along the way. So here is a tier list of all the companions from Mass Effect!
To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.
He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.

Much more hopeful 3 endings. Good one Bioware.
I liked the EC, it closed several plot holes of the original ending, it gives an extra ending (Refusal) for those who don't want to pick the original 3 choices and gives hope of a ME4.
Of course those who wanted the endings to be rewritten and Indocrination Theory followers will still be somewhat pissed.
For me, the EC did it's job.
Much better endings the mass effect ending hate is over. The endings are much more competent.
Could have given us the indoctrination ending which had so much going for it and left room for a sequel/DLC. Too ballsy of a move for bioware it seems...
I would have preferred the Destroy ending have 2 splits based upon your galactic readiness rather than just an insta-you lose ending.
