After my second play through of the game, I was convinced that the Ys series are games that will always be on my radar. Now don’t get me wrong, Ys Origin is a good game, but don’t let my previous statement lead you to believe that it is the best game ever. It still has its flaws, but the game itself was enjoyable and a blast to play."

I've been playing through it for the first time on the Switch. It's pretty good. It's scratched my action RPG itch a bit and it's a unique game for the series. I would love to see a 3rd person remake one day.
