The DS is the biggest game machine in the industry right now - but its hardly 'next gen' is it? Yet its an incredibly important machine for the buisness and driving global sales and people have every right to talk about it.

I admit I'm a core gamer and my Wii is gathering dust, but its an incredibly important mainstream games machine thats revolutionising the industry I love and have worked in for so long - I've been a game developer for over 15 years now. How can it not be worthy of serious discussion on a site thats dedicated to gamers? Mario was universally hailed as the best game of last year - and whether that agrees with my personal tastes or not, dismissive trolling teenage wannabe fools have no right to even be typing here.
