Now that COD Black Ops 2 coming to the Wii U they will be alot of pressure when it comes to online gaming will it be as good as Xbox live or does Nintendo still don't get it

000014956d ago (Edited 4956d ago )

not at all, if you are buying Black Ops II or any competitive online shooter you'd probably be far better off on PC, PS3, or Xbox360. Nintendo just ins't that go to competitive online system when it comes to titles like that, so they are fine how they are, no need being something your not. Chances are if you plan on buying a Wii U, it isn't for the competitive FPS's...

ChickeyCantor4956d ago

That makes no sense. Why wouldn't they deliver the same kind of experience? Is it not that developers are free to use their own structure for online play on Wii U?

yabhero4956d ago

That is totally unfair consider we have no idea what the online infrastructure is like ...
Cod on WiiU wasnt bad except for lag but they obviously fixed that with 3ds

corrus4956d ago

Correct not real Black Ops 2 will be some imitation for WII U cos is not powerful enough for Black Ops 2 like Batman AC

mike1up4956d ago

You do realize that Batman AC was up and running at E3... right?

So, unless what we saw was "the greatest optical illusion is the history of... eyes", I say that the WiiU is powerful enough for Batman AC3.

FYI:

Troll about a topic that you know something about... nothing.

yabhero4956d ago

That was a pitiful troll attempt...

FinalomegaS4956d ago

Air corrus, what's up with the trolling? For fk sakes, you arent even trying really.

DestinyHeroDoomlord4956d ago

This story seems very one sided... Think about it like this, if you get the wii-u and bo2 you could easily be the best cod player...

jacen1004956d ago

Wii U will enable the same online multiplayer features that have become popular in some of the competing consoles.”

This is the first concrete statement a Nintendo executive has made about Wii U’s ability to offer the same online functionality as other consoles on the market, and it also seems to be real confirmation that Miiverse is in fact Nintendo’s version of Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network.

mamotte4956d ago

"With computational horsepower that places the console on par with Microsoft and Sony’s 7-year-old Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 hardware"

No, no real developer has said this. Not even in that interview.

mike1up4956d ago (Edited 4956d ago )

I am glad to see that Nintendo is aggressively pursuing 3rd party devs. I have heard this old song and dance plenty of times before, but Nintendo seems to be turning over a new leaf. I wish them luck.

Very bias article.

I got scared before reading the entire headline

Miraak82 50d ago

Ya scary , seems more like a talent acquisition more then anything , nothing IP related

repsahj50d ago

Great news! It's good to hear that they want to maintain the quality of the games on the Switch 2.

TheColbertinator50d ago

Makes sense to pick up developers with previous Nintendo focused history.

Gamersunite88049d ago

Good. I think they'll help with Splatoon 4 and some Pokemon games.

GOOD!!! Should have never been granted.

Profchaos73d ago

This is really an example of why custom games mechanics shouldn't be allowed to be patented.

Nobody wins we had thirty years of mini game free loading screens because of Namco having a patent

RedDevils73d ago

I don't know how those idiots managed to approve the patent.

lukasmain73d ago

About time the industry starting ganging up on Nintendo for some of their shit
