Ether Vapor: Remastered is an interesting side-scrolling shoot ‘em up for the PC developed by Japanese company Eidelweiss and published in the US by Capcom USA. It is an updated version of the previously released Ether Vapor title. The Remastered version sports a new coat of paint, bringing the visuals up from Playstation 2 quality to very nice high-rez textures. After playing through the pre-release build, it is apparent that Ether Vapor: Remastered wants to make a name for itself in the PC gaming market.

Hardcore Gamer: Groupees lets you build your own bundle once again, now focusing on largely anime-looking games made by small teams. For 75 cents per game, or $4.75 for all, you can get Cherry Tree High Comedy Club, Ether Vapor Remaster, War of the Human Tanks, Yousei, Yatagarasu, Croixleur, and Cafe 0 The Downed Mermaid.
GodisaGeek: "Ether Vapor is a title by indie studio Edelweiss that scratches that annoying little itch that fans of shooet-em-up bullet hell style games are prone to, being that we only get about one or two quality titles a year. It’s yet another classy Japanese indie title from the folks at Rice Digital, who continue to surprise us with the quality of games."
So what? Another year to six months before we see this on a console? If console owners are that lucky to get something like this after - what? - two years of it already being out?.
