Katie Williams of Kotaku writes: "When I sit down at a computer, my left hand falls automatically into the inverted-V shape known well by all of you; middle three fingers arched across W, A, S and D. Pinky hovering over left-shift, my thumb resting lightly on the space bar. There’s a poetic comfort in this for me. I do it without thinking. These letters are the ones I always come home to.
I’m protective about my natural gravitation to those four letters. They’ve opened up huge new worlds for me: I’ve been to Rapture, Azeroth, the cutting cliff-faces of Dear Esther. I spent three and a half years working towards a games degree. I write about games now. This year, I flew to Los Angeles for my first E3.
Those four letters on my keyboard define me: I am a gamer, they say. This is what I do, what I know and what I love.
So last week at E3, it wasn’t disappointing press conferences, my ruthless appointment schedule, not having time to eat, or even the nightly drinking that broke me. It was my forced separation from those four buttons."

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
Ah, ignorance and condescension... is there any experience you can't spoil?
This is annoying , would have been nice to see her challenge his sorry ass and win , Boom Headshot PR loser.
How sad.
Maybe he thought you were a newb because you had your fingers on specific keys? It's like telling who's a console newb, when they have to constantly look at thier controller to see where the buttons they need to press are at?
When I play PC games, my right hand is probably the only hand that's constantly on the mouse. my left hand is usually free and I only use it, to press keys without looking at my keyboard. It's like when I HAD (even though I was advanced), to take typing classes and the teacher wanted people to have their fingers on *asdf and jlk:* and not look at the keyboard, I didn't do that and just press the keys I needed to freely and wihout looking. she was so impressed (then she realize I was advance) lol.
When I play console games (will use fps games as an example on this one) is the only time I have my fingers on specific buttons (index on R1, left thumb on L3, right thumb on R3) and press other buttons when I need too freely without looking at the controller. At times though, I dont have my index on R1 and just only my thumbs on the analogs and press R1 freely when I need to shoot.
FYI: I onced played GTA:SA and GT4 with one had when I broke my right hand.
Speak up for yourself.
