The boss of Grand Theft Auto publisher Take-Two is not convinced that the Wii U can attract a viable audience for its core-orientated games.

The head of AI at Take-Two says his time with the company has reportedly 'come to an end.'

Take-Two has hired Perfect Dark studio head Darrell Gallagher and creative director Brian Horton to start a new studio under 2K.

Fired Rockstar Games staff have protested outside the UK offices of parent company Take-Two and developer Rockstar North today, denying accusations of leaking company secrets and calling for their reinstatement.
The fired Rock Star Games staff were likely at-will employees, which means they could be terminated by the employer for almost any reason. Doesn't make it right, but it is what is.
I hope this doesn't mean GTA 5 won't be on Wii U.
Considering allot of core titles have been announced and are in development for the wiiU i dont know why he is sceptical. when the wiiU sales millions of consoles in no time perhaps he will change his mind lol?
maybe this article will clarify what "CORE" titles mean for ppl.. Some have their own opinions of what it means.. I myself am skeptical about what core games will be offered on Wii U.. If i get one, its for zelda & metroid cuz i know they will be a perfect fit for that gamepad.. asymmetrical gaming doesnt interest me in the slightest & thats what it seems to be marketing to the world.. I dont even think those titles are even online multiplayer
Never liked GTA anyway.......
I'll reserve my final opinion of the WiiU until after I get to actually play it myself.
Also, what does "core" actually mean these days? Examples please.
