Ive never played RE for gameplay, same with SH.
People who say they are RE and/or Silent Hill fans and are "upset/butthurt" about how things are changing.....are not true fans...stop saying you are.

There was only acouple games that where amazing gameplay at there time....true fans play for the story.

Back in the PS2 era, a new RE game was an instant buy. Now a days, I have little interest in the series. RE6 is too cliche Hollywood action film-like.

This series better not die. This is the only series that i truly fucking love from the first game to Re6 to all the spin off. I warship this series to ground. I don't give a fucking about the survival horror aspect. I play it for the characters and storyline. The movies are also fucking amazing.

I never played any RE other than 4 and 5, but I really enjoyed both, and 5 had some of the most fun co-op I've ever played, so I expect I'll enjoy it

I like the feeling of Leon being back... But to many things changing it's turning more action based... I miss the first RE

Considering that Capcom has a knack for releasing the same game with add-ons and stuff 6 months past the release of the original version, I'm going to be patient and wait; I've been stung by the uber-steroidified (is there such a word? :D) game that was RE5, and I think I'll just save my money for the first six months.

On topic: I hope RE6 doesn't disappoint, just to be optimistic. Bottom line is, if the game delivers, then good for Capcom; if it doesn't, then I think sales statistics are just gonna have to tell us Capcom failed.

I like RE4, but thats where things began to go wrong. Ammo galore, buying weapons, MONEY, no zombies etc.

RE5...yuk. Unlimited Ammo, Unlimited saves, no zombies just gray and black people with guns and snipers shooting at you, buying weapons etc.

Know how to make a great RE game?

Puzzle, zombies, limited Ammo, find your own damn weapons as you go along (this is survival by the way) limited saves...(again..this is survival) and your fine. Don't care for the story nor setting. But for gods sake can they at least make a TRUE horror survival game. I don't know about you guys, but RE5 is NOT a horror game and its clearly not a survival game. If RE5 is a survival game...so is just about every game ever made. And as for horror, its had to have a setting of horror in the daylight. And don't give me that "oh there monsters" um...yea, so are the Locus in Gears Of War....thats clearly not a horror game by any means.

Oh i "survived that endurance race on GT5...its survival alright" LMFAO! You have unlimited ammo and unlimited saves.....shit if anything the real survival game is actually what the enemies face, your ass never runs out of ammo and you have as much saves as possible. Lets be real, THATS a guy to fear right there. LOL!

I like that RE6 is making you find your own damn guns and i hope ammo too! GOD PLEASE! I also hope the WHOLE game is JUST zombies but from what i've seen its clear thats not the case. I at least wish more then half of the game is just straight zombies. I have no doubt in my mind that people would LOVE RE if they just got to see what the gameplay was like BEFORE RE4 and RE5. It was intense, just knowing that you HAD to make those shots count cause if you ran out...that was it. Having ammo scarce really forces you to really survive ALL your zombie encounters.

I loved each and every RE, re6 will be no different. games were never scary in the first place, just puzzle games where you never even had to fight a zombie unless it was a boss.

great puzzle games though, i appreciate the actual focus on fighting zombies rather than side stepping them, although the atmosphere should come back but w/e. fun is fun

I don't think it'll fail. But what does fail is the fans failing to see that RE has never been survival horror. It's always been action just with the moments of jump scares. It's like Dead Space, more Jump scares less Survival Horror. So this game should be amazingly awesome just like the previous Title's

It won't fail..in sales :) there are too much action and shooter fans... I would like game with less explosions and action... there was a decent take with Revelations, but still there were action scenes too...

I hope it fails, but thats wishful thinking. Coop in a RE game could be great like in the OUTBREAK series or could be shit like in 5 (In regard that OUTBREAK keep RE essence and RE5 dont).

Hard pass; also the first time I played RE6 was on XB1. Why the re-release? Unless they gave it a 4k 60fps update. Even with that I would never play it again! Quick Time gameplay with prompts?
