After years of being disheartened by multiplayer, Mass Effect 3 shines through.

One of the best things about the Mas Effect series is the companions you meet along the way. So here is a tier list of all the companions from Mass Effect!
To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.
He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.

Although I personally have had little experience of online multiplay as moat, the last being Resi5, I did not go into ME3's Galaxy@War with any great expectation. Like most I saw it as being an unnecessary convolution of an essentially single-person franchise. Whether it is essential for completing the campaign is a moot point now. But taken as a thing in itself, it is a LOT of fun. And I believe it is down to it's down to it being truly co-operati rather than competitive. I have enjoyed considerable comraderie with strangers who were consumate teamplayers who in a short time have come not to just extend my friends list but also to become friends as well sharing good natured banter, advice on other games and weekly ME3 G@W sessions. So despite that ending, I'm still coming back to ME3. Not necessarily for what Bioware have inspite of themselves got right here, but for the other players I have met, fought alongside. I've got your backs.
