360 version has a 3 year warranty. PS3 version will play 4 life. PSN support is in PS3 version. Correct me if I'm wrong. And @double edge, dude, PS3 will always get better exclusives from third party no matter what. I remember Resident Evil 4 on the gamecube, after the first 3 sold millions on ps1. The ps2 was like 60 million deep at the time. Developers have dignity. It's their choice. PS3 is where it's at this generation for third party exclusives!

I think it's fair to say that DMC doesn't quite have the depth of Gaiden but then again maybe you think that also is just about slashing - it is of course hehe but you can play Gaiden many times through without it getting tired.Less so for DMC.

That video capture you're showing has the 360 version zoomed in further on the ground expanding and blurring the textures' lol.

Thats a common result of zooming in one textures.

Theres also red pixels covering way more of the 360 version.

This video is prefered because the quality is so bad PS3 fanboys can force opinion.

Im not here to bash the 360 version, but I've red on like 3 or 4 gaming sites that the xbox version is going to have screen tearing. It might be fixed since the article was from decembre.

i love the DMC saga and i will buy it for my ps3 because of the controller mainly and because it's associated with the PS in my mind, i can't see it in a gray/green console lol. I played Ninja Gaiden on the Xbox and i hated playing with the Xbox controller, it lame for an action game, it's d-pad made me feel the pain after longer sessions of gaming because the buttons are not plain but concave, and when you press them many times in the end it hurts. this is my opinion, for me the dualshock controller is the best.

We all know the PS3 version of DMC4 will be the better one,just like Burnout Paradise,not only will it have better graphics,ZERO loading times(sure you have to install the data but you can always delete it afterwards or upgrade your HDD Hardrive if you haven't already upgraded it) and a better feel when playing it(SIXAXIS/Dualshock FTW)

to me the colors are a bit deeper on the xbox, ie. the red web. yes, you'll have to be superman to notice the difference. graphically, they are the same.

I remember the day CAPCOM went multi-platform with this game and all hell was broken loose with loyal fans that threaten to Boycott Capcom games..

CAPCOM is on of my top 5 Game developers dating back to the old-school and just like they have supported all the consoles like Dreamcast, Ps and Nintendo there was no loyalty BS here with me.

I will purchase this game since it is in my genre, just as NG, Heavenly Sword and some others. I await to see more reviews since I have a choice in Console.

i mean, Devil May Cry 4 is running off of the Lost Planet engine. it's not like that engine is pushing any envelopes technically.

with that being said, i *DO think the game looks good visually, it's just not stressing the PS3 or the 360.

This is so funny. I thought the PS3 was inferior to the 360. It was just a Blu-Ray player, no good for games. And now even most 360 fans admit that the PS3 is really a great games machine. The 360 version wont sell as much, because of the few xbox gamers that are familiar to the DMC franchise, and the 360 owners lack of great-game taste.. Which in the long-run means, that DMC5 will newer see the light on the 360

Textures and lighting on Xbox 360 version look better; great example around 0:45, look at the tilework on the floor & the light at the foot of the stairs.

The lighting is *really* superior when the character ascends the staircase near the 1:00 mark, in the Xbox 360 version, you can see the trees outside through the window. On the PS3 version, the windows are just "blotchy".

At 2:00, when the character chops the enemies with his sword, the Xbox 360 Version has detailed and colourful "explosion" ("the colourful magic release effect" that eminates from the slain enemy), on the PS3, it looks washed out and less defined and has less vibrance.

At the 3:15ish mark, when the creatures appear outdoors in the courtyard (they come up from below in the shadowed part of the courtyard), the PS3's creatures look like they've all been painted gray. The Xbox 360 version still shows colour and detail on the enemy.

Obviously the 360 version looks better. If you look at the shoes there's more detail and the enemies bawls have better textures. The 360 continues to dominate with exclusives and multiplatform titles. Put your PS3 in front of your door to allow a nice draft and...

Typical Sony visuals, blurry and foggy the Xbox 360 version is more clearer and sharper.

Thanks to the custom GPU in the 360 it will always have superior visuals.

PS3 version loads 6 secs whereas xbox 360 loads 13 secs.
That is the only difference.

Think it's good that they make DMC 4 for both consoles. So xbox users gets to play this awesome game. Getting it for PS 3 though

PS3 version loads faster because its most likely has had most of its game data installed onto the hard drive which takes around 30mins anyways.

Ain't this what you want out of Multi-plat games. DMC is not graphically demanding in the first place. After all we are talking about DMC4 here not something else.

Now lets get those sales up and sell some games with your gaming system for a change. I sure hope Capcom can manage to atleast sell 10 maybe 20 copies of this game on the PS3 :) I bet if this was a DMC4 movie on Blu-Ray it would actualy sell :)

Is that the 360 version is on 2 DVDs and the Ps3 Version that looks the same is on 1 Blue Ray. I like the fact i will never have to go switch disks. But maybe this is the 360 version of the Wii fit, to encourage exercise by using older and insufficient technology.

from this video they look the same, only i notice the red color web on the door hav different patterns on the two versions, thats not a big deal really. we have seen another higher resolution video before in gametrailers, there i spotted the x360 version has several areas with sharper textures and normal maps like on the hero's hoodie, belt, gun handle and sword etc... but again u gotto pause the video n use a magnifying glass to find it. I have to admit that x360 is a tad superior but im happy enough to see PS3 has a decent DMC4 which i'll definately buy.

I miss the first three generations of PlayStation. The way they turned PS3 around, we knew they meant business. We were all worried for a bit there around launch. Eventually from 2008 they started shifting slowly. But since Yoshida was fired, it's never been the same. Still enjoy my PS5 daily. I got a backlog dating back to PS2 lol So I'm fine but new games aren't as appealing anymore.

It seems like we were thrown on to the worst timeline possible where everything is too expensive and the wrong people were put in positions that makes the world a shitty place. We could have had Shu as the head of PS but we got the shitty alternative. Same goes for everyone in power around the world. Doesn’t matter the company or country the majority of us got the shitty picks and the world is declining like never before. I do think PS can come out of this because of their studios, talent and IP but they need someone more in touch with gamers leading things like Shu was. They’re still the best place for console gaming imo but it could be much better than it is especially without the massive live service failures. The rest of the world I have a lot less hope for right now. Hopefully the pendulum swings back towards the good ole days but I’m preparing for the worst.

Jim Ryan is the reason why we are entering year 6 since the PS5 launch and many of us don't feel like the PS5 has gotten started as yet.
