CheatCC Review: Omega Five

XBLA is not new to the world of side scrolling shooters, but it is, however, new to "new" side scrolling shooters. With most side scrolling shooter on XBLA, they've become nothing new to gawk at or bother spending your money on. Natsume and Hudson have put together a game designed specifically for Xbox Live Arcade. The result? Instant classic that's easy on the eyes, easy on your wallet, and hard to forget.

Its also hard as hell and you have to have somebody at your house to get help. Overall its one of my most prized XBL game I collect them.

No doubt this title proves the future of XBL titles useing more proccessing is a bright one(O.5. is up there with earily Dreamcast games.

Hudson 3DS Titles Cancelled

Andriasang: The release list in this week's Famitsu has some mega carnage for Hudson fans. It looks like many of the publisher's upcoming titles have been cancelled, presumably due to the recent Konami acquisition.

XBLA Shmup Omega Five Coming to 3DS

It's okay if you don't remember Omega Five. The Natsume-developed side-scrolling shump hit XBLA in early 2008 and has since shot into obscurity. According to Famitsu, the game is set to appear on Nintendo 3DS in Japan during Spring 2011 -- where it'll probably make a more memorable bow among a launch lineup otherwise devoid of "traditional" shoot-em-ups.
