It will be interesting to see how that AVA compares to the Dipal, both look like fun products.

I want an actual robot companion though, I know I'm gonna get some flack for saying so but i hope robots get as advanced as LLMs in their abilities over the next few years, that would be pretty damn amazing.

I'm already eyeing a Jenny Wakeman replica home robot... Well someone had to say it.

They might come in cheaper than expected with good competition in the space, from China etc. Similar to how we have good Android phones at reasonable prices. They'll probably be fairly pricey though at first, guessing in the region of 20-30k, but who knows maybe pricing will come down fairly quickly.
