There will be a black WiiU only after Nintendo is done selling the While WiiU. Once they see the sales are slowing down. They will happily release a black one. Its always been their strategy, to bring different colors after the original release. How long this may take is anyones guess.

I thought that the Gamecube launched with 2 colors.

Yeah purple which was the standard color (horrible in my opinion) and black which was the special edition Resident Evil 4 game cube (which was the one that i owned)

The black casing will create the illusion that the screen is a bit bigger.

But I can't help but think that the White one looks better. I guess i'll have to settle fr either one of em.

They Better get me my black Wii U on release

If you go to nintendo usa website, the very first thing you'll see is a black WiiU. They even have a select button for choosing black or white hardware. Nintendo better release black after their entire presentation showed a black WiiU the entire time.

I like the screenshots of the Black WiiU better. I like the way the "Home" button looks when its lit.

But a WiiU is a WiiU.

It's going to take a while to get used to the White one again.

Best 2D, Mario World, best 3D, Mario 64. Can't say there's been a bad one, although Mario World 2 wasn't a true sequel. The Mario Land games were good (not the first one) and also Wario Land. I thought after Mario 64, Mario 3D World was excellent.
