"Capcom has managed to put together a competent enough cross-platform conversion which hits the right notes in most areas, but struggles to reach complete parity, and suffers from some severe performance issues on both systems. Image quality is effectively identical, bar the obvious gamma differences and better texture filtering on the Xbox 360, and in terms of the overall graphical make-up of the game there is very little to separate the two at all - none of the subtle differences have any impact on the look of the game or will affect your enjoyment at all."

Although the sequel is on the near horizon, the original Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen remains a fantastic action RPG, still worth playing.

Daman Shelley from NoobFeed writes - Dragon's Dogma is truly a one-of-a-kind game, and there really is no other game like it, but there are a few that come close. Whether with their fantasy settings, the ability to climb mountains, or just with the overall same charm as Capcom’s iconic RPG. Here's a list of games that will hopefully scratch that Dragon's Dogma itch.
I can still hear the title screen music in my head after nearly 12 years. Loved every minute of it.
I have no issues filling my time til DD2.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Infinite Wealth and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will probably me more than enough.
More terrified I won't be done in time.
Try not to burn yourself out before the game releases. This is going to be a long and immersive RPG like the first one.
The games in this article are all great and I believe the people who are excited for Dragons Dogma 2 probably already played most of those games.
For now, I recommend you prepare yourself for long play sessions if you will be picking up Dragons Dogma at launch.

Dragon’s Dogma achieved its highest concurrent player count in over six years over the weekend.
Excellent game spoilt by grindy combat and no fastbtravel the stones travel system was rubbish
I'm doing my part to contribute to this. Found out my pawn had been a busy bee while I was away.
when i found this game i loved it and played the hell out of it, got to the demon in the expansion and after feeling pretty good at the game he wiped the floor with me, fatigue set in, but i need to get back into this i think, looking forward to 2 for sure.
game is so good. I want a SEQUEL!
not bad for a capcom game
this is exactly why sony needs to come out with ps4 NOW. just compare the screenshots.
lunaluagua
LoL, stop making shit up.
Lighting is the same, more contrast on the 360. Crushed blacks on the 360. check.
You have just shown me, you know nothing about graphics or v-sync.
When v-sync is on, you always lose fps. It's one of the drawbacks. But you get rid of the tear. I find it strange that 360 has no v-sync and still does not go above 30. lol.
Yeah i checked the pics you mentioned, hardly not worthy is it. contrast and slightly better streamed on 360, by like a sec.
Depends on engine, and dev.
This is mentioned below the video of cyclops.
Like-for-like scene analysis demonstrates the impact of v-sync on performance (PS3) and does seem to suggest that if an adaptive v-sync strategy were in place, the Sony platform could actually out-perform the Xbox 360 game.
I play most of my games on PC.
But also have a ton on PS3, and other then early ports, 1percent better on either console isn't anything to shout about.
