
When I’m not up to my eyeballs in video games there’s a good chance I’m immersed in the tales of spandex wearing, crime fighting, world saving superheroes. My love affair with the most resilient of comic genres has probably gone on for longer than that of gaming, for better or worse, through thick and thin. Through reboots, re-imaginings and missteps, I’ve kept reading. It shouldn’t come as a surprise, there’s a substantial crossover between fans of games and fans of comics, and it’s one that developers have been keen to exploit for a very long time. Not without a lot of faltering, however.
