Retro Studios has proven time and again that they are more than capable of making fantastic video games, especially those that appeal to a western audience. They are the creative minds behind the Metroid Prime series, as well as the remarkable Donkey Kong Country Returns. Although many rumours are swirling around the internet as to what game they are actually working on, it’s safe to assume that with it being Metroids 25th year anniversary in America; that they will be announcing something Metroid related at E3. The only question that remains is where does Retro take Samus from this point forward? Warning: contains story spoilers for the Metroid franchise.

Nintendo has announced its financial results for the first 9 months of the fiscal year, new official sales figures for the Nintendo Switch 2, and more.
17M+ units in 6 months! Others on this site are insisting on only 10M units. XD
And as for Switch 1 total sales, it will only take a few months for it to surpass the 160M of PS2.
I still believe the Switch 2 is not gonna be as successful as the OG Switch. We'll see ;)
That is pretty amazing. I love what Nintendo did with the Switch 2 as they fixed every issue I had with the original and it seems devs agree given the amount of 3rd party support it is receiving.
All those clickbait YouTubers and Twitter users are going to be working overtime to try and swing this as a bad thing, when it continues to defy expectations and break records.
The Switch 2 has now outsold the Steam Deck nearly 3x over and is outselling the OG Switch by nearly 5,000,000 with half a year of sales to go for its first year.

Nintendo of America is once again facing labor complaints from one or more of its workers. Game File reports that new charges accuse the Switch 2 manufacturer of violating sections of the National Labor Relations Act dealing with worker organizing and related union activities. These come just a few years after the company settled a previous labor charge with a former tester for $26,000.
Retro Studios has built incredible atmosphere, puzzle-solving and environmental diversity. Based on the length of the development cycle, we must assume it's designed primarily around the limits of Switch 1 (we have yet to see that version of the game) so the strategy for Switch 2 is seemingly to supercharge a good-looking game to run and feel even better.
man this review makes me so hyped for the game now. Really happy with the overall presentation here. Now I'm debating running the game in performance mode since it looks like only the resolution takes a hit while everything else remains the same. 120fps is tempting.
so...it's not 4K60Hz haha. they didn't even mention 1440p which makes this a false advertisement.
They haven't outdone Rare's output of titles when Nintendo owned the company during the N64 days, but their quality of software (Retro Studios) is easily comparable.
They can go wherever they like. If they can somehow banish the memory of Other M which they are very capable of doing judging by their output; fans and Nintendo alike would be very thankful about it.
Duck Hunt. The future is now.
These broke cities skies like butane on my skin, stolen from my eyes, hello angels, where are you?where do we go from here?
MORE Metroid Prime(+ a little Other Mness) or do GC's cancelled RAVEN BLADE!
