GameZone's David Sanchez writes: "Is Rockstar's latest a true follow-up to the Max Payne series?"
Modder ‘alexsavvy’ has released a must-have mod for Max Payne 3 that is a love letter to all fans of the original game.

GF365: "These are our picks for the ten best games to complete 100%. This list includes good games that don't feel like chores to complete."
I got 80% trophy completion on Ragnarok but left a few of the battles. Will come back to it one day.
Where is Horizon Zero Dawn?? where is Ghost of Tsushima?? I just got my Platinum on HZD and is now trying to finish the Frozen Wild expansion. so much care and love went into that game and it really shows. I especially adore the lore and have sunk many hours listening to the logs and reading journals. the back story is great and the gameplay is awesome. can't wait to replay on the hardest difficulty on NG+. next in my list would be to finish GoTsushima
Okay the title of article should be top 10 , 3rd person games to complete 100 percent. Nine 3rd person games and 1 racing game on this list .

If you've been waiting for Max Payne vibes to hit your turntable, you're in luck. Noise rock band HEALTH have a Max Payne 3 vinyl soundtrack update.
One of the best soundtracks in gaming. This band is incredible and I’ve seen them live twice now. Absolutely fantastic band
Nah,it's a reboot in my opinion since it really doesn't have much to do with the previous titles..
"Is Rockstar's latest a true follow-up to the Max Payne series"
Nope
Good game...great game in fact
But not something I would call a true sequel to Max Payne 3
Just seems like a new IP that was turned into MP3 early on in development, probably explaining the un fitting location and Max's out of character bald look. It's like instead of respecting the roots of MP, they structured the story around whatever game they were planning to make from the start even though it's not very Max Payne like. Hell the game could of probably been an open world, GTA, game set in Brazil with a bald Die Hard wannabe as the main character.
The New York levels are fantastic, showing us that they could of kept it fresh and exciting despite being in the same location as the past two games.
<Small Spoiler>
I'm quite p*ssed off that it seems like they've decided to go with the ending of MP2 where Mona dies. Mona was a great, strong female character...which is quite rare these days and even though they had the chance to bring her back they didn't. It paynes me (couldn't help myself) to play her online with her witty remarks knowing she's probably dead.
I hope they find a way to bring her back in MP4...I actually hope Remedy will be in control this time
I enjoyed the game as for what I was looking for, a good TPS with a good story.
Direct sequel to the events of Max Payne and Max Payne 2? No. Continuation of Max's journey? Yes. It's clearly not a reboot, as he wouldn't be the age he is and the setting wouldn't be described by Rockstar as "two years after the events of Max Payne 2."
