However, like Sony, Microsoft is still saying it won't be showing off its next home console at E3 next week. So what does it have in store for us? Splinter Cell 6 will be revealed by Ubisoft at E3 2012 with a planned launch in January next year, according to XGZ .
I said this when there were rumours about a sequel to Conviction, that there's not much reason for Ubisoft to ignore the PS3 audience. Not anymore, especially when they released the Splinter Cell HD trilogy on PS3 only last year. Any technical reasons? Can't imagine so. Unless Microsoft has handed them a heavy cheque, I see no reason. Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed is good enough for PS3, so Splinter Cell 6 without a release on that platform is an anomaly.
No , the size of the dvd what hold kojima to release his games on the xbox360 but i hope he release his games on all possable consoles to let people experianc his amazing games , i also hope he find a way to not effict the ps3 version of his. Next game
And the Metal Gear Solid games are no longer exclusive.
MGS4 is though and I think it would have been on 360 if the game hadn't been big enough to fill a dual layer Blu-ray.

The PS3 doesnt have enough RAM to be co-op through a campaign with an open stage. If a PS3 game is to have campaign co-op, its very constricted. People can get mad but its the truth.

whoa dude, if you care about those issues so much, why not get it for pc? The experience will be better, nothing toned down. And plus you can still use a x360 controller.

i want the same exact thing. on the original xbox it was above and beyond anything graphicaly. coviction was just average. bring back the gadgets, knife and split jump. if they bring in anything from conviction, id say one up it and add multiple enemy takedowns like the bourne movies. ubi montreal was and kinda still is my favorite developer. i hope its them making it and they do it justice
UbiSoft will be on MS stage. So probably Splinter Cell, Assassin's Creed III or Rainbow Six with exclusive DLC of full exclusives.

Splinter Cell 6 won't save any type of stealth gameplay since the game will be more action based like Conviction
Pretty much. I highly doubt it will focus on stealth. Plus...Conviction is a pretty good game.
How do you know this ? I enjoyed Conviction but I'm sure I heard they were going back to its roots.

I hope it goes back to it's roots as a stealth game instead of a TPS with a few stealth elements like Conviction. I'd rather have Chaos Theory the original playstyle.
chaos theory was the best, hud meter for with sound and shadow, not that light on the back like double agent

the quality of ghost recon is really good, the only negative complaints that i have with the game is an outdated engine and the mark and execute feature from conviction is way to easily implemented in the game but everything else is down pact
Its an outdated engine. Multiplayer is awful because only player 1 can do half of the stuff.
The graphics are awful, the story is awful, The gameplay is extreamly adverage and the multiplayer is broken.

ill give you that it has an outdated engine and the graphics are not up to par but i dont agree when you say the multiplayer is broken, in what way? sure there are games where lag brings those "wtf how did that happen" moment but to me this is one of the most balanced multiplayers out there also i dont understand what you say about only 1 player can do half of the stuff. this is a team oriented game 1 player can not do everything not even half the stuff and help his team win it has to be a coordinated effort.
i wish they show it at E3
and i want to see different game engine for it not unreal.

I must be the only one who didn't hate Conviction. It wasn't as good as the first 3 games, but it was leaps and bounds ahead of Double Agent.
I wish they would bring back the 2v2 spies vs. mercs MP mode. I have no clue why they stopped.
Splinter Cell: ConViction co-op was amazing. Now that mode was classic stealth.
I thought a few months ago that the game was going to be more like the originals. I could have sworn they interviewed the head person and they confirmed that? But if it is a sequel like this site claims then what a letdown.
I'll try to find a link to the video, but I swear that's what I remember hearing.
