Gameinformer - According to Official Microsoft Blog chief marketing officer Yusuf Mehdi, since its launch there have been 67 million Xbox 360 consoles sold worldwide at a total profit to Microsoft of $56 billion. He says this means that it owns 47 percent of the current-generation console market, and according to Mehdi these sales numbers have broken the traditional pattern for a home console. Instead of selling fewer consoles as it gets older, the Xbox seems to get better with age, selling more consoles each year.

A brutal reset, a smarter story, and a return to what made it great—Mortal Kombat (2011) revived the series.
15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.

New report from Skillsearch found that 22% of those surveyed had been laid off within the past 12 months.

It's a step forward for Stop Killing Games.
No it doesn't get better with age... No console does, it becomes inferior. *facepalm* That's how technology works. Also, OF COURSE someone WORKING for Microsoft is going to praise it, I would expect no less from someone working at Sony or Nintendo either for that matter. They start trash talking their own company's system they'll probably get fired lol.
Haven't they only been saying that? from when they launched with no contemporary competition, while the PS2 had sold 130 million, to the Wii overtaking and still well ahead currently?
I would say the 360 is worse now that it was a few years ago. The latest dashboard blows, and M$ focus on Kinect has left a sour taste in my mouth.
Why would Microsoft say otherwise? I mean, clearly they're wrong, but they're not exactly going to say the Wii or PS3 is king are they.
